This tiny computer is perfect for tight spaces. I use it on a small desk tucked in an alcove next to a bookcase. I splurged on extra memory and a large SSD. The result is a PC that boots up quickly and runs ridiculously fast. It handles all the usual boring work and home office PC tasks with ease and after work is done, it plays recent games at 60+ FPS at 1080P. The noise and heat levels are barely noticeable. The case is so small, you can tuck it behind your monitor with the included mounting plate.

Muy potente, silenciosa y realmente de un tamaño reducido (justo lo que yo necesitaba).Solo tengo un problema que cada tanto se apagan las luces de la calavera, parece que es un tema de tensión de corriente, y se soluciona desenchufando la nuca y Volviendo a enchufarla de la corriente. Más allá de ese detalle, funciona perfecto.

The computer was so-so performance-wise with Windows 10 Home on it, but after installing Ubuntu Linux (18.04) its blazing fast. At the time of this writing, an upgrade to the 4.18.x kernel is needed for the video chipset support, an update to the AMDGPU firmware for latest firmware is needed, and signing the kernel in order for SecureBoot to boot it is required. After the 4.18.x kernel series becomes stock, then everything will work out-of-box.

If you're looking to downsize or want to use this for multimedia I recommend this highly.

The performance is great

I've only had it a couple of days, but so far, so good. NUC came with the correct options that I ordered and shipping was faster than expected. I haven't tried any games yet, but I can play 4K video on this without any problems (unlike my older i3 laptop). Overall performance is snappy with no lag or waiting. The size is just like someone else described... like four stacked pieces of bread.

Great product. Nothing held back and priced well.
