This works like a charm on our spa! Now I don’t need to buy test strips anymore. Glad I bought it. Easy to calibrate and gives accurate results. I do recommend you to clean the probes to get accurate results.

I could not calibrate the chlorine by following the instructions. I tried various permutations, but to no avail. The pH, which does not require calibration, was way off, at a pH of 8.0 it registered 6.7- garbage. I believe this meter is a waste of money- I would have returned it, but I waited too long to test it.

Was looking for a quick easy digital measure of at least Chlorine and PH. This one does do that with details. It requires to calibrate for Chlorine test each and every time and says it does not need any agents but the instructions tell you to calibrate with 1.5ppm control agent. You can just calibrate it to the "C" which is the factory default but if you want accuracy as a concern it takes a bit extra to get to the point of an accurate reading. Also , there is no "off" switch. It says to put it in the PH position and store it there. But does not say if it is needed for a PH reading in which case the battery would be in use. Currently I'm just taking the battery out while the pool is doing this well and MAY leave it in over night when the readings are off and takes a couple days to get them all back to good points. I did however like the sensor does have a place to be kept on the side of the unit.

Very inaccurate measurements. I find myself taking out my chemical tester anyway to make sure. Don't trust the measurements on this because they're always so inconsistent. And yes, I am cleaning off the rods each time...
