We have been buying antler bones forever for our dogs. The store bought ones are fine but can get expensive and the way they cut them makes them not last as long for our dogs. So I was looking for some thicker nicer bones that would last, be more affordable and that didn't splinter and risk putting your pets health in jeopardy. These have been perfect! I researched alot of the other sellers and alot has bad reviews as far as splintering. These are thick pieces of antler and shave and smoothed in all the right places to protect your pet. They are also not cracked or brittle so they don't splinter. The dogs love them and they have been lasting for a while now. It's been about 4 months since we bought the first one and it is hardly even worn. When I was buying from the pet store, our dog was blowing through the large antler they sold in about 3-4 months. Don't hesitate, this is the answer. Spend the money on the big one. They last and your won't be disappointed! I will definitely recommend and continue to buy in the future when they finally get through these ones we got them.

My service dog Duke is a powerful chewer. The Nylabone Durachew for large dogs he will gnaw down to the size of a nub within a month. The antler that he got as a graduation present, however, lasted a good long while so I decided it would be better to get him another antler. The Dear Valley larger antler pictured looked to be a good size for a 65 lb, Labrador, and it has high reviews so that was the one I picked.I was not disappointed in the least, and neither was Duke. It arrived today, January 6th, after ordering on Sunday the 3rd. Great timing, too, since this morning I had deemed the Nylabone had been chewed small enough to be trashed, an act that made for one sad faced black Lab. But when I checked the mail Duke cheered right up. He could smell it through the wrapping and was very excited to have a new chew toy. The piece is 10" long, and Y-shaped, which is a nice size for a dog of Duke's build, and despite almost an hour of chewing, it's still not shown any wear. It's made my Duke ecstatic, and that's what's most important.

She is a savage power chewer. I’m afraid she will choke on other products even those that say for power chewers can’t stand up to her. This is the exception so far. The thickness is good, chewabilty is excellent, no odor or mess. She didn’t take to it at first, but I kept offering it and left it lying around and before to long she was gnawing away.

My chocolate lab loves to chew and I wanted to try something new and different besides the regular white femur bones I usually get her. I like how these "break down" better as she is chewing it as compared to the cow femurs because I don't notice all the chips missing from it as I sometimes see with those bones. These don't seem to last as long and are a little pricey (they are pricey everywhere no not just this product, it is cheaper than most I have seen). These are not as thick as the femour so that is one reason they don't last as long. Overall it is a great chew toy and I am still undecided on if I would continue to purchase the antlers over the femurs simply because of the price. But quality is great!

My dog LOVES these antlers. She's a chewers & highly recommend. Keeps her occupied for awhile and last for months.

Good for large breed and they don't disappear as fast as other things. I have pit bulls and they last a long time and they love then.

My Border Collie-mix puppy LOVES his antler. The price paid is well worth the use that we are getting out of it, and I appreciate that the antlers are humanely harvested. This was the key selling point for me. All sharp bits have been removed, and my puppy will lay with it between his paws, chewing contentedly for stretches of 5-10 minutes or longer (this may not seem like a long time, but it is for him!). The antler does not smell, as past purchases from other brands for our other dogs have. We have had this antler for nearly two months now, and there is very little wear. The only indication of how well my puppy enjoys it is the decreased marrow.

The dogs love them, and I love that there is no smell and no mess .....

The antler that came was even bigger than I expected and while my dog was confused at first (she kept trying to find a soft spot to get at) she quickly started gnawing on it and really likes it. It seems like it will last a very long time and I hope to reorder this same one!

These are not as shown in the pictures of the add. Says large, but they are very small,and more for small dogs.

I own a 2 year old Plotthound/ Vizsla mix who is an avid chewer. He is also suffers from seizure disorder and needs food or chews with no additives or chemicals. These antlers last a long time and are safe for him.

Christmas gift, hasn't been used yet but previous ones are great & the dogs love them & they last forever.
