No more switch by the wall. Button under the zinc area. Very clean look!

I have black stainless in my kitchen and I need the same for my garbage disposal button. The color does rub off after a while so it needs to be replaced every so often.

I ordered this button Moen AS-4201-BLS and air switch ARC-4200 so I could be belittled and dismissed by moan support, I had to push back on them to let them know their products don't work together. I'm very disappointed in who I talked to at Moen saying I would need a plumber to install this product when the button does not fit the shank of the air switch. I don't care what your experience is, something as simple as this being questioned is just ridiculous. I had senior sales staff at Plumb Supply look at the products to come to the same conclusion. Moen support is no better than the support you will get at a front counter at a major auto parts store. They know nothing unless some engineer puts it on their computer. If I need spark plugs for a truck nobody needs to know if it's 4x4 or not. But it goes to show what people know and how involved they are in the industry of what they sell and support.

Works so far

Works perfectly! My granite counter top has a 1 1/2" diameter hole. Most air switch button bases are 1 1/4" diameter and the flange on the top would go through my 1 1/2" hole. This Moen is 1 3/8" and the flange extends beyond the 1 1/2" hole, so it won't fall through. My previous switch was a 1 1/4" and the installer used a metal washer to keep it from falling through. However, a decade later the washer rusted through and the switch fell through. This switch doesn't need a washer.

For a remodeled kitchen. I prefer single nob. Has pull out sprayer - super helpful.

The item came with a sink drain and not even one for a garbage disposal. Odd! Not at all what I ordered but I looked past that since it was just extra. This item is just a button which is all I needed to replace a chrome/silver one. If you need the entire air pump switch you will need to order a full kit. The button was supposed to be brushed gold according to the seller and it came two-toned, scratched and broken. Not only was it broke but you couldn’t even glue the top back on the button if you wanted to. The faded “gold-ish” metal center plate that goes on the plastic button is smaller then the plastic piece itself. I was actually so disgusted with the purchase I decided to Mount my silver air pump switch button under the sink inside the cabinet. Thank goodness I didn’t pre drill a hole on the counter for the button. If I didn’t live in a small town with no fedex and a tiny ups store open only an hour and a half a day 5 days a week, closed weekends this item would have already been returned. I have to scramble to try find the time to send this junk back before I run out of time on my return policy. Absolutely do not buy this product. At least not from this seller. Horrible quality control.

The plumber just installed the garburator today and said how clean and sleakthe air switch button looked on the counter top--very practical and attractive.We placed it slightly up and to the right of the sink and was happy with this choice.

I can't believe I was looking at box store disposers...double/triple the price. The Waste King works amazing and for a fraction of the price. Hooked up with the Air Switch and controller. Installation was quick and easy too.
