Good quality, just what I need.
Good quality, feels sturdy on my vise and good design, no cheesy colors.I already test it with cutting small plastic tube, it holds very well. I wish magnets where a bit stronger, but they good enough to do the job and not fall off.I'm using these on 3-1/2" jaw vise and these pads are 4" wide working pretty good for me. I was able to slide off rubber pad from metal holder for cleaning, that is a very good feature.I would recommend this product!

Great product just not for a Wilton 4-in
This is a very well made and nice product but note that this absolutely will not work correctly with a Wilton 4-in device because the magnets line up exactly perfect with the screw holes that bolt the jaws on the device and it doesn't get a good magnetic connection. But they are very well made and I really wish these out of work. If they were only with larger magnets or if the magnet went all the way across they would be perfect and an excellent alternative to some of the more expensive ones

Good, could use adjustment
I’ve seen a lot of reviews complaining about the strength of the magnets. What I found is the strength is fine. The problem is the location. The aluminum jaws are tall, and the magnets are placed low. My (admittedly cheap) 4” vise has steel jaws that are less than .75” tall, so the magnets sit mostly off the steel. So, the grip seems weak. These are decent for the price, but I’d recommend the manufacturer either use a double layer of magnets or center them. I have the equipment to drill out and add a magnet or two, but that’s not an option for many. I recommend these IF you have tall jaws (at least 1.25” tall).

Worked fine
These worked out very nice

Good quality
Very nice for gunsmithing work - keeps your finish from getting too scuffed while holding in place to mount muzzle devices

Good metal, good medium-duty rubber. Not the best magnets. Overall worth buying.
My vice is a 5" so I cut them down. I liked was that the rubber inserts slide out making it easy to cut the rubber about a centimeter larger than the metal to allow some overhang. The location of the magnets allowed the cuts to be made without contacting the magnets or needing to cut both ends. The rubber is tight enough in the aluminum that I wouldn't worry about it sliding out in movement or shifting, and its almost dense enough that anything cylindrical shouldn't make contact with the aluminum to cause marring. The rubber does have a slight tackiness. The two plates stick to each other when pressed with nothing in between and they also stick to your clamped object after unclamping. So I put a dry lube with teflon on them in addition to new magnets. My only issue overall is the strength of the original magnets. I'm not sure what they are made of. They chip, they spark, they aren't black like most chippable magnets. I tried them on my 30 year old super duty 360x360 bench vise and on my new heavy duty 360x360 and they stay on against plain gravity but can easily be knocked off if the vise gets bumped or they themselves get bumped, or you didn't keep the rubber either oiled or dusted depending on if you work with metals or wood or plastics. But, as a fabricator, I buy rough ideas and then I make them up to par myself. Seeing as I dont have an aluminum caster, or a rubber caster, nor a electrical magnetizer, but I do have access to a hacksaw, a drill and other magnets, these are great. Cut em to length, pop out the old magnets, adjust the holes and glue new magnets and bam, ready to work for you for a lifetime.

Got it a day sooner than I was expecting it
I like the product. It works way better than the plastic ones with the magnets. I can put more pressure on these ones. I like the fact that they are aluminum backing. I had to much flex in the cheaper plastic soft face. The magnets work as the pressure points and eventually pop through. That sucks, in the middle of a project. Like it did to me. These ones put more even pressure and hold better. As for longevity... we will see. So far, so good.
