CORSAIR CARBIDE SPEC-06 Mid-Tower Gaming Case, Tempered Glass- Black

Decided to upgrade from my old rig and found this spec 6 used for a good deal. When I received the item, everything looked good, and the quality was acceptable. The case overall has great airflow throughout. I didnt care too much about the RGB controlled version, since I can pretty much insert the lights myself at a later time. The removable mesh screen on top adds a nice touch and doesn't take away from the overall beauty of the case. The tempered glass also comes with thumb screws that makes life so much easier for you when removing it-Overall, I'm pleased with the corsair and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a simplistic white/black build. Cable management during the build process wasnt too bad, and I'm satisfied with how well everything turned out. Just take a look at the before and after pics I provided if you're looking for a decent white case for a great priceSidenote - I've been using the case for a month or so and I have yet to find any issues with the power button as a few other reviewers have noted.

Description says it comes with one fan but mine came with 2. This is a very well put together case. A lot of thought went into this and the attention to details is great. The only thing that had me scratching my head for a few minutes was the front LED light - it came with a seta connector, not a 3 pin...which doesn't match their online spec manual at all. I had to rig it to work. Doesn't come with a manual either. Oh yeah...don't overlook the cardboard box that's shoved in the bottom...it's got goodies in there too.

This is a great case for the price, I spent $80 after tax. However, being a seasoned builder I ran into more than one issue with this case. The first issue is cable management, now I use braided cable extensions because they're cheaper than a full custom kit but it adds extra cable length which is normally fine. This case has very little room in the back for cable management I would say the cable management size is equivalent to the Corsair 400C, now its nothing that half and hour and a bunch of zip ties can't solve, you just have to really plan your cable runs. On the plus side it does have a cable cutout for the audio connector on the motherboard so you don't have to make a long messy cable run. My biggest issue was the power and reset buttons not working, they were stuck and have no tactile push to them, I ended up solving this by hot gluing a power button on the underside of the front panel, but over still not a very big issue. No onto the positives of the case. This case looks amazing, the white and black go very well. This case has great airflow allowing for my GPU and CPU (both air cooled) to breath easily, something my last case couldn't do. There are plenty of fan filters to help keep the case dust free. And one added bonus is the white LED strip in the front can easily be replaced if you wanted add a different LED strip. Some things I wish this case had was a visible SSD mount to show off your SSD and better placement for the HDD cage.

The media could not be loaded. Really good for canble management btw that cable from the fan that you can see I can hide it through the back if I rotate the fan. I read the reviews on the power button what I’ve been doing is being really careful not to press it down hard so far still works.

Great case. There's a ton of room to build, and an incredible amount of tie down points and accommodations for cable management. Front LED is pretty bright. Magnetic dust filters are also a nice addition.

Muy buen producto

I really like the look of this case, sleek and minimal, and the build quality seems good. The tempered glass panel feels quality and looks great as well and the interior layout is great for building and cable management. I have to dock this review a few stars though because my case was missing the RGB control module that is the whole reason I chose this case to have the rgb led strip on the front active. Shame that this got through Corsair quality control, and I had read other reports of this happening to other people. Fortunately corsair customer service said they would send out a replacement unit. Hopefully its the correct part.

Excelente gabinete sin romper la cartera. Me gusta que no tiene ARGB y no parece arbolito de Navidad. Buena calidad y buen espacio interior.Hay que considerar que el case de los discos duros 3.5 puede estorbar el cableado de la fuente de poder si es una fuente muy larga. Tengo una fuente de 800W de thermaltake bastante larga pero aún así entro sin problemas.Al tener las entradas de aire por los costados del frente del gabinete puede ser un problema sobre todo para la tarjeta de video. El filtro frontal es excelente.No tiene ningún problema con el cristal templado. Muchos se quejan que no tiene soporte para el cristal templado y que las gomitas se caen. Pero yo no tengo problemas. De preferencia quitar el cristal con el gabinete horizontal para evitar accidentes.

Love my new build with this case. Lots of room and great quality features worth the extra money. Front panel WHITE led sticks out like a sore thumb. Removed the strip with a couple of screws and the internal RGB shines through amazing.

Very good value. Installed a pwm hub in rear door tray and tucked all cables behind. Very clean install. Only noticed about a week after build that you can install vertical gpu. For the price point that is awesome.

Si buscas una torre algo más profesional y con buenos acabados es la ideal. Se nota bastante en los detalles, tanto para encauzar los cables, como el exterior y el cristal del lateral.En cuanto a refrigeración tiene dos ventiladores frotal y trasero, lo que facilita bastante la tarea y no generan apenas ruido.

Very good aesthetically, the white LED is a nice touch also. Putting everything together in the case was..okay. Biggest fault with that is there should be a little more space to work with at the back of the case so it's not a pain. That said, other side of the case, there's plenty of room. No issues whatsoever fitting parts in, my 2 and a half or 2 and 3 quarter slot 1080 ti gpu fits perfectly and it's one of the biggest recent gpu's. The rest is also fine with that. Glass side pannel looks great and easy to place. For airflow, there's certainly a noticeable room for improvement that corsair could have made, mostly just with the intake area at the front.All in all, this is a very nice case, and the price isn't too much for what you get. Amazing aesthetically, not amazing for airflow, but it's still well sufficient.
