Acer Nitro RG240Ybmiix 23.8 Inch FHD Gaming Monitor, Black (IPS Panel, FreeSync, 1ms, ZeroFrame, HDMI, VGA)

bought this as a replacement for an aging viewsonic 27" panel and wasn't sure if it would be big enough. That is going to be a purely subjective thing for most so i'll concentrate of things that are tangible.The IPS panel is good with great colours and a good contrast with minimal light bleed at the edges. My RX580 detected the monitor was freesync enabled and set up the resolution and variable refresh straight away. But Nvidia card owners with no be able to take advantage or freesync as that currently only works over display port connections which this panel doesn't have.ports included are HDMI VGA 3.5mm audio in and also a headphone jack, and a barrel style power connection for the included separate power supply.You might need to use external speakers as the built in ones are very basic and lack volume for movies but for general use in a normal room they are usable but in a noisy environment you will most likely not hear them very clearly.It is very thin and the bezels are also narrow giving a premium look although the screen front is actually overlaid slightly so the screen when on has a slightly larger bezel than it looks like it would have when the screen is off.this isn't very obvious but i thought it worth mentioning.For general Windows use and gaming it is spot on with fast refresh and minimal if any screen tearing, movies look great due to the warm colours and contrast so video editing on this is good also if that is a potential use case.overall very happy with the panel and the display, and would be worth 5 stars if it had display port and louder speakers, but the price reflects the star rating 4 out of 5 is fair as it isn't perfect but quite close in my opinion.

Purchased to extend the screen on a iPad, which it does. The screen is designed for a gamer and this appears to be good for that. Disappointingly the screen show light bleed on the bottom right hand corner. It's OK but in the dark and a black picture is noticeable. Can not be bothered to sort out an exchange as a replacement is not likely to be better. Overall OK, but Acer you should do better !

The monitor was good but it broke just one month after the warranty expired. It just went dead and after attempting to trouble shoot for an hour trying to connect it with different cables and computers it seems that the problem must be inside the monitor. Very disappointed with the fact that it broke just after warranty ( it lasted all in all one year and one month).

Excellent monitor. Unfortunately it was supplied with a European 2 pin plug instead of the UK 3 pin plug which is, I believe a contravention of UK regulations. After a disappointing response from the seller I resorted to buying a new power lead, but I will be very very careful before buying electrical items from Amazon again.

I did loads of research in which gaming monitor to buy my 10 yr old son. Up until this he had been using a TV. The difference is huge and he noticed lesser lag and the picture quality is really high. He uses PS4 n is delighted

Great monitor for my kids gaming computer. Nice picture quality and big enough to open multiply windows. Big help at home schooling. Delivery was very fast got it within two days from placing order, way faster than it stated on website.

It is nice with good viewing angle. The only thing what I am not so happy is the "brightness" in game where the place is darker, then you cannot set up bright enough to play convenient. So I have to use 95% brightness, my previous monitor I used with 75% brightness and it was O.K.

Product is amazing. KSN are one of the best companies to deal with , had some misunderstandings with the monitor and connections at the start but after talking with KSN they were extremely helpful and solved my problems!
