I had a problem with a squirrel going into my engine bay and biting through the plastic elbow of the OEM fuel line for a Mazda5 minivan. Not sure why the squirrel was attracted to bitting it at the plastic tip, but it did it twice, causing gas leakage. After installing this, the squirrel could not bite through the elbow, but it did attempt to bite through the hose as there was an area of the nylon braided section that was chewed. I might have to get stainless steel braided hose if it tries to keep on chewing through. Cost-wise, this is much cheaper than Mazda OEM fuel line which was around $80. The Mazda required fuel fittings that are 5/16" wide. 3/8" fittings were too large.

I read these threads, Great Help. I used heat Shrink and a do-more handheld cut off blade. The first part is Left handed. and a Vise is helpful

Durable and clean. Common sense to the mechanically inclined. Just read the instructions and take your time. You may find yourself needing double male flared fittings or flared to NPT keep that in mind. I pair of dikes (wire cutters) with a couple of bites can make clean enough cuts thru the hose. Cut from opposite direction on each cut. I like the product. I had to order a bunch of extra fittings in order to put the ones the kit came with to use.

This was my first time doing AN lines and it went very well, kit works well and came with good instructions.

I have never used this type of fuel line or connectors before so I did a test installment of a fitting and it was simply a breeze! this will be my go to when doing fuel lines in the future

I was a little worried about using this setup at first as I've never dealt with fuel lines much before.over a year later and through the salty Canadian winter they are still holding up well... If I were to have done it over I would order the next length up just to give me a little more slack for routing still worked great though!Application: 97 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Club cab, short box
