I do not post reviews that often, but after 2 1/2 years of heavy use, it deserves a review. I purchased this for daycare for my daughter instead of trying to keep up with a blanket and pillow. This made things very easy to carry and keep track of. It has been used daily for 2 years straight, washed every week (sometimes more), and has been worth every penny. As far as wear and tear is concerned, it did fade a little bit, but nothing that deterred from the design or look. It was very soft. The only thing that began to show wear and tear was the Velcro tabs, however, after 2 years of steady use, it still holds! The Velcro tabs still hold it when rolled to this day, they just show wear and does not hold as strong as it used to. My daughter still has this and plays with it on occasion.The pillow pocket was great! I always removed the pillow from the pocket when I washed it. If the pillow got washed, I don't think it would have held its shape or comfort as long. You can also fill the pillow pocket with another type material if desired or if the pillow gets damaged. I like that it was not sewn in. Great design!! Great durability! The Wildkin brand backpack was just as durable (going on 3 years of use and still going strong)!As a mom of a now 6 1/2 year old, this is my favorite brand! I had not heard of this brand before and bought based on other reviews. Since I have had this product since May 2012 and another item by Wildkin since June 2013, I had to write a review!!! I highly recommend it! Oh, and if you're in a daycare setting, the designs really stand out! No one had this design in her room so she had no issues locating it (as a 2-3 year old). In my opinion, it was well worth it!

My daughter has been using this nap sack since the beginning of august and still has kept its shape. The pillow comes out when you wash which is a plus . The purple unicorn design is so cute . Definitely the best. Compared to the knapsacks that the children have in my daughters class and that includes the one the daycare’s offer. This one has held up so much better, and the blanket is thick . When I bring it home to clean on Friday my daughter still use it through Sunday until I clean it. 1010 recommend

I did a lot of research before buying my daughter a nap mat for preschool. Although most brands had mixed reviews, this particular brand (Olive Kids/Wildkin) seemed to be more popular for its durability, convenience and thickness. It rolls up nicely with velcro closures and a strap and has a removable pillow. It washed very well and looks well made. It fits my 2.5 year old great and she will have plenty of years to grow into it. The fabric material is 63% cotton and 37% polyester. It isn't super soft to the touch but comfortable enough. The inner blanket is softer and made of polyester batting. Not sure where the 100% cotton is that was advertised in the description but I am still happy with my purchase. Hopefully it will hold up well to many uses and washes. I am happy with the cute patterns that are offered and the thickness of it.

It is a good size mat; I like that it is thicker than other mats we’ve had which makes it comfortable. My daughter loves the unicorn print! So far so good with the washing machine, it’s held up great.

The material isn’t as soft as I wish it would be, but overall it’s really good quality. These last throughout the entire daycare years without having to replace them

First of all, as a parent you never stop learning things - sometimes the hard way. When we bought this sleeping mat for our little princes (3 1/2 yrs), for a camp out in the local Botanical Garden, her little brother (1 1/2 yrs) would occupy it and not let her have it. Big trouble, tears, drama ... stupid parents! I immediately ordered another one for him (with fire engines as motif), but the week or so it took to arrive was pure hell.Well, now they both have one, and everything is peachy.The mat is very well fabricated, the fabric is good quality and it looks very, very comfortable (I didn't try it myself, but our kids love to sleep in it. For the first week or so, they both had the mats in their beds instead of the usual blankets, pillows etc.).The mat is sturdy enough to handle some rough treatment - after the camp out we just put it in the washer and it came out like new.The only really minor thing we don't like about the mats is the straps at the backside that are used to hold the rolled-up mat together. Those are a hazard to active kids who twist and turn and shift and move during sleep (both of ours do that). They can get entangled in those straps, which are sturdily sewed to the mat. We just removed them altogether, to eliminate this possible source for grief.Also, the mat could be a bit wider to give a bit more cover for those active kids. Well, minor things that probably only impact our family.The general size of the mat is ok, though. However, we estimate that our 3 1/2 year old girl will be too big for it in about half a year, taking her current growth rate. But by then, I expect the mat to have disintegrated anyway, because she now uses it in Day Care for her nap time ...Overall, we are very pleased with this purchase. Also, Wildkin has numerous other designs available, so if your princess doesn't like fairies, there are alternatives. I like the astronauts best ...

Extra star because it was shipped overnight. Quality is good. My 4 year old needed one for pre-k and we got it delivered in time to get it washed, dried, and packed. I sent her with a separate pillow as the one attached seems a little flat. She says it’s comfortable and cute. That’s about it.
