When I was pregnant my tongue was super sensitive and I couldn't tolerate even a very slight buildup of the white stuff on my tongue. That's when I started looking online to buy a tongue cleaner with good reviews. I purchased the Plackers tongue cleaner because it had great reviews and was reasonably priced. I also purchased azhealth tongue cleaner as I can compare two new products for which I had a great need.Both cleaned well so I have pointed out only the differences.Pro:1. In azhealth cleaner, triangle open portion just below the cleaning head tapers at a sharp angle. If this part touches the tongue when cleaning it kind of catches on taste buds, pulls it and hurts. This doesn't happen in Plackers because the angle at the bottom of triangle is not as narrow.2. The cost of Plackers is 6.50 for 2 pieces. Azhealth costs 8 - 10 for 1 piece.Con: Az health tongue scraper is extremely gentle and does a great job at cleaning tongue too. It is so gentle that I have bought another one for my 3 year old son.Plackers is rough and may even hurt if we are not careful.

I love these things. Let me start by saying that my tongue has always caused me concern. What color is it supposed to be? Is brushing it actually enough? So I read up on it and ultimately decided that regardless of whether or not tongue scraping makes a difference to my health, I still want to scrape it just in case."They" say that the metal ones are better, and maybe they are, but I don't like putting metal in my mouth unless it's delivering a bite of something delicious. And metal sounds sharp, too, like maybe I could accidentally scrape my tongue out of my mouth. No thanks.So I settled on this little plastic duo. I've been scraping my tongue every morning for several months now and I thoroughly enjoy it. Sometimes I get some gunk off of it - possibly plaque? Most of the time it's just a little bit of clear-ish buildup. But I do feel better about my oral health knowing I'm taking one more step toward never losing my teeth or developing halitosis. Worth every penny. Everyone I know is getting one for Christmas.

A tongue cleaner is one of those little things in life that you never knew you needed until you've used one. Maybe I'm the only one but I've always wondered if I walk around with bad breath and no one ever bothered to tell me. Well at least now I have taken one step to ensure that is all in my head.I'd share a photo of what comes off my tongue in the morning... Let's just say I wonder how I ever tasted anything before this. I first use the fuzzy side to scrub and loosen the "moss"... then the flat side is for scraping everything off.Comes as two in a package, one for me and one for my wife. Easy to carry when I travel.

I have been a tongue scrapper person for years and these are my favorites. The ones sold at my local shops are all a little over-done. This is not a razor people, you don't need three blades to clean your tongue, just one scrape for left, right, and middle. In my routine I brush, then floss, then scrape, then mouthwash to drive it home. If you aren't a believer, eat an Oreo, then brush and floss and THEN scrape.... you will be a convert, I promise!!!Ready to get gross, it turns out my husband has been dabbling in the world of tongue-scraping with my tongue scraper for quite some time without my knowledge!!! Lets just say that the extra one comes in handy even if you don't think you will use it.

These tongue scrapers are great! The shape contours well with the tongue's frame. The design works well because it actually collects the plaque. I've had previous tongue scrapers where there was no collection area, so I would just re-scrape the plaque on my tongue unless I washed the plaque off after every scrape (that is very tedious). This product is very easy to clean, and I have had no issues with yucky residue or any funky gunk building on this product. Also, there are small rubber bumps on the handle which makes it easy to grip. I would definitely recommend this and would purchase this again!

I have been searching for a way to get gunk off of my tongue forever and this product is great! I do smoke so I always have a strange film on my tongue. (Sorry kind of gross.) but this product worked for my problem. It doesn't ultimately fix the problem, you'll have to keep using but I highly recommend.

These are great tounge cleaners! They were some of the most affordable on Amazon and are extremely effective. I feel like they definitely keep my mouth clean and prevent bad breath. They're easy to sanitize and keep clean. I also loved that there were two different colors so both my husband and I know which belongs to each of us. These are pretty cheaply made, but it gets the work done I guess. Very thin and lightweight. The scrubbing side of the tool is very flat and doesn't do a lot as far as scrubbing the back of the tongue, so I pretty much have to rely on the scraper side of it to get anything off. The scraper side is almost too thin and sometimes hurts to use on the back of my tongue. Overall this product gets the job done but I would say it's not the best quality tongue scraper.

Only received one, Amazon rectified that.Item is good does not get 100% of everything and the brush makes no difference. Hard to get further down the tongue as my gag reflex is quite bad.not bad, Although i could of just used a piece of plastic that would of done the same job.It has cut my tongue although i never knew that until i spat aster mouthwashing

Excellent scraper, best I've used. The combination of one side to scrub and the other to scrape is perfect.
