Nice smooth, soft & bright colors + useful packaging
the available colors choices aren't the best, but the quality... Awesome.I'm a graphic designer and use them occasionally, and it feels natural every time. I love the color saturation and softness.But I don't use their watercolor ability much. The stand & packaging is good though.

I absolutely LOVE these pencils. They're very responsive to water and blend easily. They're great quality, and the case they come in is nice and sturdy. I plan on buying the bigger pack soon.

Preis-Leistung sehr gut
Die angebotenen Aquarellstifte von Staedler gefallen mir sehr gut. Sie eignen sich besonders gut für kleine Skizzen (zum Beispiel für Aquarell-Tagebücher) auf Reisen. Mehr als einen Pinsel und etwas Wasser braucht man nicht. Je nach Technik sind die Farben intensiver oder etwas blasser. Am schönsten sehen sie aus, wenn man sie mit dem feuchten Pinsel direkt von der Spitze abnimmt. Die Farben sind leuchtend und das Pigment löst sich sehr leicht, man kann sie auch direkt auf dem Papier mischen. Die Box ist praktisch, der beschichtete Schaft und die Form sind haptisch angenehm. Das einzig was zu bemängeln ist, ist das Schriftfeld auf dem Schaft, besser wäre ein weißes Feld, so sieht man die Beschriftung kaum. Mit einem Permanentstift hält die Beschriftung aber gut. Die Farben sind identisch mit den Aquarellstiften von Staedler aus der Reihe Noris-Club. Als Anschauung habe ich ein Bild angefügt, auf dem verschiedenen Ergebnisse, je nach Anwendung, zu sehen sind und man einen Eindruck von den Farben erhält.

Great for on-the-go, precise artwork.
I have almost finished this pack of watercolor pencils since purchasing a couple months ago. They are great for on-the-go watercolor sketches because of their ergonomic packaging (love the cover-stand!) and because of the precision they provide because of the pencil form of the watercolor. The richness of color is buildable, although I'd recommend building color up first, and then painting over for your desired shape and form. You must wait until the water dries completely if you want to build on top of a painted section. Color selection is pretty simple, but mixing colors is even simpler. Softer strokes translate into a more uniform color; hard strokes are definitely noticeable in the final product. I recommend this product to anyone who wants to try watercolor on-the-go!
