Good buy
Good buy. Satisfied with the specs. I dont have an eye for details - I am happy with the picture quality. Sound is sufficient for our small hall. Price makes it a worry free purchase.Edit: Panel showed internal cracks in January 2019 - just 3 months after buying. Sanyo/Panasonic guys told me it was a physical damage. I don't know how it got damaged because the kids were out when the TV showed the cracks - maybe, the cracks slowly developed. I am not sure. But, the TV was rendered worthless as replacement panel was quoted at Rs.27000 (more than the TV itself). So, take good care about the panel.

Good VFM TV for this budget
This TV delivers a pretty good full HD quality on firestick and YouTube videos. Details and clarity are quite good.In set top box it delivers average color reproduction. SD channels picture clarity is very average. If you have used a good branded TV before you will be disappointed with the picture quality of this TV with its default color settings. In fact I thought of returning this product but finally tried to modify the picture settings to get a reasonably better quality especially that of from the STB.Default settings give a red Tinted color.Picture tuning advanced settings not available. Only can adjust the basic settings like Brightness, contrast, sharpness and color. Color saturation setting helps a bit.PICTURE quality is better with Color saturation set to CoolNoise cancellation to High.Sharpness to be reduced for viewing SD channels.Brightness can be adjusted as per the need.Sound quality - No comments as I use a sound bar.Considering the average life of any LED TV its a wise choice to have budget TVs instead of spending more on branded TVs. But of course we should not have high expectation for this budget. This TV gives a pretty decent quality for its money.Overall build quality of TV and remote is average. Light weight TV so suggest to use wall mount only. Wall mount screw pitch is just 100mm which is very less for this size screen.Pros: Cost, Picture clarity, DisplayCons: Build quality, Sound, Color Tint

All IPS panels are not the same, but at this price its a deal!
Update:I lift the rating from 3 stars to 5 stars after comparing the LG 32" HD ready and this TV back to back playing the same media from a USB drive. The picture quality is not bad at all considering this cost me almost 10K lesser than the LG. But still i like the colours on the LG TV. The menu system is better than the LG, this is more direct and easier to navigate.Original review:Do not expect the picture quality of 32" HD ready LG televisions that cost 8000 to 10000 more than this one because it is not up there with the LG. If 10 grands saving is a big deal then be ready to compromise a bit on picture quality. This gives about 80% performance of a HD ready IPS panel LG non smart TV. I have one and my comparison is with that LG. To be honest the IPS panel in the item description is what made me buy this. This TV is good on connectivity and has three HDMI ports and 2 USB ports. Menu system is better than equivalent HD ready non-smart Samsung TVs. Overall a decent value buy and it is made by Panasonic in their Chittoor facility.

Could have been perfect, but way too GRAINY!
*** Pros:1) 3 HDMI ports (instead of 1 or 2, which is common)2) 2 USB ports (instead of 1, which is common)3) IPS screen: which you can get only in LG and Panasonic brands from what I know (Sanyo is a Panasonic brand)4) Brightness5) Matte/non-reflective screen: This is self explanatory; you really don't want picture quality to be compromised with reflections of your face and lights on it.6) Sleek, matte black border which gives it a classy look (as opposed to the tacky "piano black" plasticky look)7) In-built voltage stabilizer - which really helps in India, where most of the damage to TVs comes from voltage fluctuations.8) Price: By far the best value for money. I got it on a festive sale, but even without the discount a TV with such specs under INR 20k is a steal. You'd have to shell out upwards of 30k for an LG/Samsung TV with the same specs.9) Sanyo engineer was prompt and professional in visiting and setting up the TV. Received a follow up call from Sanyo to check whether he'd done a good job or not.*** Major Cons:1) The biggest drawback is that the picture quality is way too grainy - esp. visible when using Amazon Fire Stick (see pics)! Also, there is banding between colours instead of a smooth gradient transition. In my opinion, this lays all other picture aspects (such as brightness and full HD resolution) to waste. This desperately needs a software fix to be able to bring about smoothness by comparing a pixel with adjoining pixels. Because of this flaw, the picture appears to be of lower bit depth than 8-bit, although it actually is an 8-bit TV! My mid-range LG TV has FAR superior picture quality when compared.2) Menus are of very low quality - in all terms: customizability, range of options, look & feel. A firmware update is desperately required, especially to completely revamp the menus and to change the graininess in the picture quality*** Minor Cons:3) 60Hz Refresh Rate, which is basic and standard. Anything above 100Hz is what's really desirable.4) Wall mount is very basic. You may be better off just using the stand that's included.5) Non-smart, but that doesn't matter if you plug in an Amazon Fire Stick.6) Bulky remote control: Unnecessarily big! But then you can also use it as a murder weapon.*** Conclusion:The grainy picture and bad menus completely messes up what would have otherwise been a perfect TV! So the only reason you'd buy this TV would be because of the great price (as long as it's below 20k)
