Appalachian Trail Hiking Stick Medallion

It's a nice looking badge. Just wish they used a different application for the color. Chipped while I hammered it in. My other badges with color didn't chip at all.

These plaques arrive flat, and painted. They must be bent to fit the contour of your walking stick. When you bend them, the paint cracks, then falls off the plaque. That's about it; they look nice, but not for long. I'd rather have plaques like you get from hiking in Europe; just plain metal.

Worked well, easy to install. I install all stick medallions with the nails (and adhesive tape if included), but I also add slow cure super glue at edges. It flows under the medallion. Kinda belt & suspenders, but why not be sure?Dave#Texas

Good quality. Easy to work with and apply to liking staff. Hint pre-drill holes with small drill bit to decrease chances of bending small nails

A beautiful piece and quality craftsmanship. The company that makes these have a storied history of creating custom medals and I think that makes these medallions even more unique.
