I needed a small engraver for harmonica tuning and this one fit the bill and worked well. What I wan't expecting was all the attachments and stencils that came with it. I bought it for one use and discovered dozens of uses. Uses a battery and is not rechargeable, but the battery has not had to be replaced since I got it.

For light engraving, this is the tool for you. It comes with a total of 6 bits and the Allen wrench to install them. Easy to use in small, tight spaces and it works on tool steels, aluminum and of course plastics. If you need deep engraving, this might not be for you, but as you can see in the pic, I marked my side cutters, and my vape, now I just need better penmanship. This won’t engrave very deep on harder steels but that wasn’t important to me and for the price, this does exactly what I wanted.

I'm a mechanic and I use this for engraving my initials on my tools. It's super easy to use one button operation. Engraved a bunch of my tools and what I like most you can use it for a while with out it making your hand all tingley. Also a added bonus it comes with extra engraving bits and the tool to replace them. Only thing that would make it better is if it came with batteries lol

Nice little engavement tool works very well on glass I mean very nicely but its kinda of a struggle in the metal I suggest if trying to engrave on any type of metal look for a stronger better one this one just get ya by

Was better than I expected. Well worth the money. Having extra heads to change out a huge plus. I purchase a different brand before. No extra heads, thicker n harder to use. This engraver how ever works wonderful. I have used it on wood, plastic, metal, leather and glass with out any issues. It fits my hand nicely. It’s about the size of a thinker marker. The only thing I would suggest changing would be to make it just a little thinner for better control for fine detail work. But I’m sure the more I use the more I’ll adjust to the marker size thickness. But that’s just my opinion. I have small hands.

I was looking for an inexpensive graving tool I could hold like a pen. Best Reviews recommended this as a good choice. I didn't get a chance to try the tool because it never turned on (batteries were fine). *Queue sad trombone here.

[Update: I am changing my rating to 5 stars. After a little getting used to, I realized I was applying too much pressure. It's important to use just the right amount of pressure and then it writes fairly smoothly on a flat surface! I've been using it all over to write in runes and Latin alphabet. Etched my name onto my bike. Marked my keys. Wrote my gf's name in glass. And I'm attaching my latest work, which is what I bought this pen for in the first place - leather crafting. It did a very poor job writing on the inside of the hyde, but was beautiful on the outer side. And that's my first piece of leatherwork!]It is hard to write neatly with , but maybe that will come with practice. I think you need a very strong grip and/or downward pressure to write neatly, as it will go all over the place if you don't hold it down tight. I'm glad I watched demo videos before purchasing, otherwise I'd have been upset with how hard it is. I just got it a couple days ago and have already used it to engrave my name into a metal box, runes on my metal bed frame, and letters onto my keys to indicate which door they're for. I could not write more than that on the keys as the space was too tiny to have any faith in being able to write that many letters clearly. Have only used it on metal so far - can't wait to try it on glass and leather!Batteries were included and I think it came with everything it was supposed to - 5 spare tips and the tool to change them out. One of the tips is extra large.I highly recommend learning runes for this tool as it is easier to write in straight lines than in curves.

The media could not be loaded. Awesome little tool! I mainly got it for small little projects such as the one in the video posted. However, after a bit of use, I realized that it could be used for many other things and not just engraving. Multiple tips are provided for different applications which expands the range of use for this product. Very easy to use, button is located in the location that allows for the maximum grip while using, and the lead of this tool while using is almost non existent. Highly recommended!
