Cute book which illustrates that girls can enjoy dressing up, being fancy and frilly but still enjoy the outdoors. My 4yo daughter, who likes wearing a dress everyday (one that twirls, of course), whose favorite toy is a fire truck and wants to be a firefighter when she grows up Loved the book!

If you have a fancy princess child who always chooses looks over comfort, this is the perfect book for you. I had thought there was going to be a moral about why wearing a tutu, cape and shiny poorly tread-ed shoes would not be the best choice for mountain climbing; it wasn't. Instead the girl merrily danced and frolicked through the woods dirtying up her elaborate clothing with no consequences or problems.
