Australian Large Dark Brown Oilskin Duster - Riding Coat

This thing kept me dry in Haleakala Crater during a horse trip in the worst storm I've ever been in. Horrible conditions! It saved my a**. It did come with a snap that fell off right out of the package but when the company was contacted they were willing to do all they could to make it right. I fixed it myself and they get 5 stars for the customer service.

BY FAR THE WORST THING is the liner. It is a plaid, thin, cheap piece of crap that I quickly removed. The seams were so terrible that it was easy to do. It will keep rain off you, but it is also thin and soaked through on some parts, the seams mainly. I do love the look of this, but it will require additional maintenance to make it pleasing fashion-wise. First, there are loose threads everywhere! Second, the seams are not in the same place twice. I also noticed that is has bracket holes around the armpit seams. What are these for? To let rain in?Two things you can't see that it has is a lace inside the jacket to hold it closed at the waist. I removed this as it is hideous. Also, it has leg straps to keep the bottom from blowing up (handy, but I don't use them). All the buttons are snaps. Despite the thin material, this thing is heavy but also VERY warm.I could have done better for the price. 3 stars....

The duster was greatly appreciated since the person doe`s a lot of riding on cold mornings.It is of good quality,and able to with stand rough treatment.

Wow, impressive, stylish, warm and dry. This has become one my favorites. Well constructed and durable, I do tons of outside cold wet weather work, this duster keeps on trooping along. Hope they have other colors as well.

My son was very happy with the Duster except for the fact that it was too large for him. Need to order a smaller size.

Leaving for United Kingdom Jan 16 to see new grand-baby. I wanted a long jacket water proof for the journey. Of course I have my long over coat. Guess which is not going! My hat I own is made of buffalo hide very heavy brown & water proof. so what better combo. I do want to check out those hat's when I have the chance.Keith Hardin 5 stars!!!!!
