Perfect for ARGB led strips
These worked out great. I used these extensions to connect to led strips that I have on the ceiling. These extensions allowed me to have the controller at a lower level on the wall next to the regular light switch.

The media could not be loaded. Needed to extend some lighting outside of my desktop and these worked perfect for my phantek strips

Don't recommend using these if you use an x-connect pixel controller.
Last year was my 1st year into pixels for Christmas Lights. I had bought some pixels off here and they used JST connectors. These cables are probably nice if your controller utilizes JST, but mine uses x-connect. Needless to say, I had to do a lot of soldering. These cables were used as extension cords for some props/models. I thought with these colors I could wrap them with electrical tape to make them black. That was a time consuming mistake. Essentially, if you want to do it right, just pay the money for the right connectors. These are not water tight connections. You have to get something to put into the connection and then plug into it. I used these outside and they still work, but I can't recommend them for the application I used for them.

Very thin gauge wire
Adequate for passing data (color information), but not sufficient for passing any serious amount of power, certainly over 1 amp. I would be surprised if it was 20 AWG or equivalent. For my application, with power injection, it was adequate to meet my needs.
