Home Run for Seiko
The pictures do not do this one justice.... The blue dial is sensational, and changes in different light, and is quite captivating....Size is 44mm without crown, but I would say it wears a little smaller. The way the lugs drop, it is a very comfortable wear. Hugs the wrist beautifully. This is one of the better bracelets from Seiko.... Very nice. The lume is very good... Seiko Diver Lume is usually amazing, and this is no exception... Very nice lume. This is a Limited Edition. The caseback is marked as such. I would have liked that marking on the dial myself, but that's a nitpick.... My point is, if you're thinking about this one, go ahead and do it, you won't be sorry....

Wonderful watch with minor flaws
Overall impression is great.Blue burst dial looks awesome. Lighter than my PADI turtle. Color scheme is distinctive but not loud and excessively flashy.Angular case is different compared to the usual roundish designs.Solid and hefty feel. Not too heavy or too big.Bracelet is a pin-and-collar design. Anyone trying to adjust this at home has to keep this in mind. The issues:Notorious Seiko chapter ring misalignment. Very slight in this caseBezel misalignment. Really noticeable.I'm just considering these as quirks that are like a fingerprint of sorts that identifies my watch as mine.(Trying to add a pic of the misalignment, but the app won't let me at this time)

Great watch and great service from AVOS.
This is a great watch to add to a collection, not only is it a limited edition as only 6000 were made, but the movement is the 4R36 auto Calibre 24 jewels with self wind at 3Hz, so it is a high quality dive watch rated at 200M for less than $600. This is a bargain. The vendor AVOS Accessories stands behind their service, I was blown away with how they rectified a recent issue with a purchase and so I would not hesitate to buy from them again!!

Seiko Samurai Blue Lagoon Limited Edition
Just received this limited edition Seiko Samurai this week and I'm really attracted to the blue dial. The color of blue is very different from my Seiko Blue Monster dial. The Samurai dial appears darker in certain lighting but has almost a teal colored blue showing up in parts of the sunburst pattern in bright outdoor lighting. Really love the sharp angles on the casing and the bracelet really matches this watch. I was thinking of swapping out the bracelet for a strapcode bracelet but I think I'm going to keep it as is for now. The bracelet has solid end links and the links are held together by the pin and collar system, which can be a pain but after sizing lots of watches, this is no longer a problem for me. Practice makes perfect. They list the casing as 43.5 mm but too me, it's more like a 44 mm without the crown. I have a 6.75 inch wrist size and it wears great. I have a black / glint and a blue Turtle. Both Turtles are the new releases from last year. The Samurai is slightly smaller than the Turtle but is by no means a puny watch. For me, it's a watch that gives off a big wrist presence but wears small because of the case design. I feel the new released Turtles are more comfortable to wear but the Samurai is by no means an uncomfortable watch to wear. My only gripe is what the other reviewer mentions, the notorious Seiko chapter ring misalignment. For my watch, there is a very slight misalignment at the 12:00 o'clock position. It does not bother me because while wearing it on my wrist, I can't really see it. Also, at certain lighting and angles, I don't see it. Oh, it's there if you really look good, but not enough to bother me and return the watch. The other notorious problem of the Seiko bezel misalignment is not a problem on my watch. The bezel is smooth and lines up perfectly. I'm really glad about this because a slight chapter ring misalignment does not bother me but a misaligned bezel really irks the heck out of me. So far, the accuracy of this watch is running about -3 or +2 seconds after a 24 hour period. All in all, I think it's a good watch to add to my Seiko collection.

Fantastic watch
This is a really beautiful watch. Photos online don't do it justice. The blue of the face is very deep and vibrant. It keeps excellent time. Mine consistently loses only about two seconds a day when worn. The bezel on mine is within less than 1º of perfect, which is great for Seiko. The band looks great with the watch, but features the truly awful pin and collar system of some other Seikos.I've received many compliments on the watch, and would say it looks like a far more expensive watch than it is.Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase, and very pleased to have been able to get one of them, since they're limited edition.

The blue dial is stunning!
Love the look of the watch, wears great on my large wrists and is a real strap monster with drilled through lug holes that makes strap changing a breeze. Has amazing accuracy, -2 seconds a day! Shipping was extremely fast, got it in about three days from Milan to Miami. Awesome!Only a few small things about the watch bother me, but doesn't warrant a return because I'm head over heels with it.First thing is the misalignment of the chapter ring around the dial, it's very slight and honestly doesn't bother me that much, worth mentioning though.Secondly, the bezel is kind of hard to turn, harder to turn than my SKX007 and that's...kind of disappointing. Honestly, doesn't bother me much cause I'm definitely not using this watch for diving. It did break in a little after using the bezel, the bezel action requires that you push down a little to turn easier, and you can only grasp it from top and bottom to twist. Finally, the rattling of the bracelet, oh my lord does it bother me! When Strapcode comes out with the Samurai bracelet I'm buying it in a heartbeat. Wearing it now on a Nato and I'm captivated by its charm that's subtle, yet eye catching and I'm definitely going to be enjoy this watch for years to come!
