I purchased this quite some time ago and am using it at least once a week, but it stays attached to my desk non-stop. The clamp is very strong and tight, has a wide opening, so you can attach i to almost any surface. There are buffer softeners on each side of the clamp so that the desktop is protected from scratches.The light has three options: blue, yellow and mixed; the brightness can be adjusted too with the two buttons on the controller. The cord is long enough to reach a mid-range floor-positioned socket without a problem.The lap does not heat up too much while being attached to a computer USB, however I do use it with a USB charger directly positioned in a socket, so it does heat up a bit. However - no issues and no burnt parts, no melted plastic. Nothing dangerous.The camera arm is a bit on the soft side for me, especially if you need the tool to stand right on top of a table and show what's being positioned on the desktop (plans, blueprints etc). It's practically impossible to keep it in the same position if it's not standing vertically. (using with c920)If positioned near the monitor/webcam it does the trick - lightens up the face well, even in very dark rooms or if you're having a call with colleagues from another continent where it' night for one and day for the other ha-ha!Considering how many of us are now communicating with our colleagues via voice chat and random work calls while working from home, this is a good budget solution.

Really pleased with it, a huge help for video calls with my current office setup making it difficult to not look like half my face is shrouded from view like the phantom of the opera. Sturdy and easy to mount, the range of light levels and tones is excellent. Biggest issues are the camera mount barely allows the camera to peep over a samsung monitor, thankfully the mounting system is the same as my bike cam, so I robbed bits from that to give it some height. Also, the hear this thing belts out is like a small reactor core, so take care when adjusting it.Niggles aside, very happy with this bit of kit.

It's quite dim in my home office, even with the lights and the Web-Cam light (Logitech C925e) on, and was having to use my alternative phone's torch to get better lighting when on web-calls / recording videos. This item is well built and comes with the option for a phone-mount (I also record Instagram videos for my business). The light comes with a few settings between ultra-white light, natural light and a mixture of both with the ability to change the light intensity via the attached remote, which plugs directly into a USB port for power. In a short time, I have used it, I have received great feedback from my network on the quality of my videos, and recommend this product as a good, small investment.

as you can see in the images, the light is not as described in the advertising photos, only the bad thing i can see, but apart from that, quite a good product, holds a C920 really well, the light even though not as described, still doe's the job, very bright, and in a streaming enviroment, works well, just be warned you may or may not get the right light on it

There are so many camera lights and phone stands that it can be quite daunting when choosing but I'm very happy with this item.It has a very heavy duty large clip to hold it onto a desk, table or shelf. It just about fits on our windowsil which is ideal for where I have my desk situated.Both arms are sturdy and can position the ring light and your phone with ease. The phone holder is sturdy and the arms don't change position due to the weight of my phone.The light has adjustable brightness and warmth and looks natural when on a video call.I'm also using the ring light as a desk lamp when not on video calls and it would be perfect for crafting.

Bought in 2020, great lighting options and easy to use. However only used 3-5 times and then suddenly stopped working recently.

I use this to mount my phone in combination with Elgato EpoCCast to send the camera single to OBS Studio.This product really surprised me! for the price it is very good. The ring-light is small (as advertised) but very adaptable, it has about ten brightness levels, meaning you can get it right for your needs. The secondary arm to hold the phone/webcam works well as well. One point less for sturdiness as the ball-mount isn't as secure as it could be. But overall the quality of the product is excellent, particularly for the price.So - recommended! Do buy it if you are in the market for this sort of thing.

I use this ring light for streaming, and it does just the job to offset the backlighting from the window next to me. The webcam stand is a little short and doesn't actually reach over my monitor when clipped to my desk, but the light has plenty of height to it.I've used it clipped in a few different places and it's super sturdy, no issues with slipping.
