Rock solid
Thought I’d follow my review a few weeks later. This pull up bar has taken a real hammering and never moved amm. 2 adults (90kg) use it daily, children use it for gymnastic rings and swing on it about 50 times a day. It’s not moved, still rock solid and I have every confidence in it. Just make sure you pull up and chin up from the correct side to ensure it remains firm.Rock solid and hasn’t moved. I installed this in our hallway rather than a door frame. It’s really easy to install and hasn’t moved an inch. Worth noting that it’s better to make sure you do pull ups and chin on different sides to make sure you don’t loosen as you train. Brilliant bit of kit though.

Needs tinkering for a solid setup.
I attached this permanently between a brick wall and a wood bolster behind plasterboard, using the provided wall mounts To stop it spinning I use Epoxy resin at both ends plus under the central section: 4 places in total. I'm not using this in door-frames at all.At this low price I expected some 'tinkering' required. No instructions included. I'm using it near it's maximum extension, so it needed some help as the screw-out mechanism doesn't extend to the full advertised width.

Great piece of equipment
Essential for home workout. I was quite sceptic about sturdiness and safety, but the bar seems to work well for both me and my boyfriend, for both pull ups, chin ups and inverted rows. No need to screw it, the door frame is holding it just fine. As other reviews mentioned, just pay attention to the direction to avoid unscrewing it while exercising.

Overall, it’s a solid product with a few caveats.
I’ve been using this Pull-Up Door Gym Exercise Bar for a while now, and overall, it’s a solid product with a few caveats. Here’s my honest take:The Good:Great Grip and Stability: The bar doesn’t slip during workouts, which is a huge plus. It provides excellent grip and stays firmly in place, giving you confidence during pull-ups and other exercises.Versatile and Easy to Use: It’s easy to set up and fits most standard door frames, making it a convenient option for home workouts. The Drawbacks:1. Durability Concerns: While it works well for most users, I noticed that it started to bend slightly over time. If you weigh 85kg (187 lbs) or more, I’d recommend looking for a more heavy-duty option to ensure long-term durability.2. Wall Damage: The bar left some permanent marks on the wall where it was mounted. If you’re particular about maintaining your walls, this could be a dealbreaker. For me, it wasn’t a major issue, but it’s worth noting. Conclusion:If you’re under 85kg and don’t mind potential wall marks, this pull-up bar is a fantastic choice for its price. It’s stable, effective, and a great addition to any home gym. However, if you’re on the heavier side or concerned about wall aesthetics, you might want to invest in a sturdier or more wall-friendly alternative.Would I recommend it? Yes, but with the above considerations in mind.

Excellent piece of kit that works well
I bought this for my son who wanted to increase his upper body strength for his gymnastics but thought that I would have a go myself.I did it very carefully as I weigh 112 kg (17st 8lb) I was pleasantly surprised that it held my weight.Just remember to use it from the direction that tightens the bar and lot loosens it when you do the pull up.Don't forget to duck or remove it when finished, learn from my experience, it hurts.

Cheap crap
Rubbish, nowhere near the advertised width. The locking screws once taken out don't go back in. Takes way to long to unscrew to full width. All In all, cheap rubbish.

Easy installation and it does the job.
Cheap n cheerful. Easy installation and it does the job. It may spins to one direction but to another, therefore you need to get a grip from one side to pull up stably (that might be better to know prior to the installation to decide which side to grip.) Otherwise, great value.
