I used this product today for the first time after being very skeptical because of the price. Is it pricey, yes but I think it is worth it. My hair looks fantastic. It took all the brassyness out of my hair. I don't know if I will use it weekly because of the prices but maybe once every few weeks...

I color my hair, a lot, and originally bought this product to remove the yellowing in my blonde (okay, gray) hair. I recently colored my hair purple and was waiting for it to fade enough to change colors. I used this product and it removed all of the semi-permanent color without damaging my hair. It does smell a little funky but it definitely gets rid of all the excess color in hair. It turned my ash blond hair back into a soft gray blond with very little yellowing left in.

I used Malibu Blondes Crystals a week after getting my highlights professionally done, hoping it would brighten my highlights and make them look nicer. Unfortunately, it did the opposite. The product opened my hair cuticles, causing damage and stripping away all the color and toner my stylist had applied. My hair became very dry and unmanageable afterward.I want to share my experience so others are aware of the potential risks. While this product might work for some hair types or when used by professional stylists, it did not work for me and caused significant damage to my freshly colored hair.

Works beautifully on my brown hair with highlights. Helps reduce the brassiness.

Not a big fan of the smell. The product is OK not out of this world or a must have. I had better results with the AMIKA purple shampoo and conditioner. The price is better, And it smells much nicer!

I love this product. Saw a review on a blog and she was right, it’s great. It doesn’t turn my white blonde hair lavender like the shampoo. If you want great texture, softness, and just great looking hair, buy this. I think it’s worth the price.
