Xtreme Comforts Wedge Pillows - 7" Memory Foam Bed Wedge Pillow for Sleeping (1Pk)

This past year, my husband's occassional snoring morphed into a nightly test of our twenty year relationship. We tried everything. First, earplugs. I got foam ones. Then silicon ones. Then fancy snorr-stopping pink noise producing ones. I took sleeping pills to try to sleep more deeply, both natural ones and prescription. He tried mouth guards (which worked but gave him jaw pain and migraines), tongue things that looked like adult pacifiers, and just sleeping on the couch. I'd finally settled on foam ear plugs coupled with headband headphones playing pink noise thru my phone. It wasn't perfect, because rthe headband headphones slip around at night and I would wake up and have to readjust, or my phone would just randomly decide I was listening too loud and reduce the volume. But having my husband on the couch was not ideal for anyone. Our house is too small for him to be camping there.So when I finally decided to get him this pillow, I was not expecting a miracle. And it isn't. He hasn't stopped snoring, BUT it has reduced both the frequency and intensity of his snores--from every night log-sawing to occasional soft puttering. I no longer wear my headphone headband. While I still use my foam earplugs, I think that's only because I've grown used to them. I tried to fall asleep without them last night (before my husband was even in bed, but couldn't). That being said, they often fall out as I roll around in bed and since getting this pillow, earplugs or no, I've only had to poke him to roll over once!Does it have a smell? Yes. We left it on the porch for a couple days to let the foam air out. We had a similar experience with our memory foam mattress and our natural latex pillows. If you are sensitive to smells of that kind, it may be a problem for you.Does he slide down? Yes. Sometimes. He's working on figuring out how to stay farther up on the pillow. He rolls from his side to his back pretty regularly and is comfortable sleeping on this pillow in either position.He says it's not necessarily his ideal sleeping position, but that it's not uncomfortable either. Since he also gets acid reflux/heartburn, it's been better for that too. He worried, having previous back problems, that this would hurt his back. But he hasn't had any issues.We have a queen bed and I am the usual bed hog. This pillow hasn't taken up any more of my space. Not that I would care if it did, as long as I can sleep thru the night with my partner beside me!After months of searching, tons of money thrown away, and countless sleepless nights... this has helped us tremendously. As I said, it's not a cure for snoring, but it has reduced it so much that I had to take the time to tap this review out on my phone just to share our results. Try this first!

I bought this wedge to help in what was very mild reflux. I assumed I had some reflux because I would wake up each morning with an acid taste in my mouth, but never really had actual acid come up. That situation has resolved but I am not certain it was due to the wedge, I think it would have gone away anyway. However, I have had great improvement in a neck pain I have had for 2 years! I just could not get rid of it. I had wondered if it was caused by the way I like to sleep, which is basically on my belly and my face. I wasn't expecting it but since I have had the wedge I can't sleep on my face anymore and the neck pain has gotten steadily better! My chiropractor is amazed how much better my neck is, and my movement has improved greatly. I expect it to resolve completely with more time, but it is about 75% improved after about 6 weeks. I am staying with this wedge. Now just to force myself to face the other direction and it would probably go away in a week. I had no idea that this would end up the result of using this wedge.

This is my second pillow for my condition. Was upset a bit because it was not the same kind I ordered first time. But was pleasantly pleased that this one was even more comfortable.

This pillow has made sleeping so much easier for me. I kinda switch between side sleeping and back sleeping, and I can still pull off both positions with this thing. I haven't figured out the no cover issue yet, but I have two other pillows that totally cover the top of this slanted pillow so it hasn't been an issue. *It did smell gross for the first week or two* but that faded away. Hoping this pillow lasts for a good long time

I have been having problems with my hips and knees hurting at night. My physical therapist said that usually happens when your glutes and hip muscles weaken with age. It got so bad it was painful to walk up my stairs; I would wake up several times with pain during the night and switch positions. I am not overweight but definitely need to start working out again.I started stretching, working out more consistently to strengthen my muscles. After talking with my doctor, I add load bearing exercises to my routine. This gave me a lot of relief, but I still have nights where I experience aching hips. I did some more research on sleeping positions and found out sleeping my your back is the best position. I can only lay on my back for a short period of time; I have to roll on my side to fall asleep. I bought an Orthopedic Knee pillow for side sleepers, but then my knees hurt and sometimes my ankles. After more research I ordered this incline pillow. I had the best sleep in a very long time last night all on my back.My pillow expanded very quickly after opening, so I could sleep on it my first night. I didn't have any sore muscles any where from sleeping in one position on my back all night. I had absolutely NO stiffness when I woke up after my first night sleeping on my pillow. There is no "one fix" when you're having health issues of any kind and at any age. I added this pillow to my arsenal of tools for a better quality life style.I have problems with my neck, so I put my cervical spine pillow on top of my incline pillow and also put a pillow under my knees. I put my body in neutral and had the best night sleep I've had in a long time. I think a contour memory foam pillow would work wonderful for any one who does not have degenerative disc disease in their neck.Thank you for reading this, and I hope something I've experienced has helped you.

I ordered two of these pillows and unfortunately me and the person I ordered for have been left with the most severe neck and back pain. Please be careful before ordering and wanting to return as I had to pay over £30 to return the items.

Does what it is supposed to do. There's a little smell from it but it goes after a few days. I placed mine outside for a few hours and it dissipate almost completely. I like the size it's very big allow for very good back support. Recommended.

I absolutely loved this pillow, but had to return it because it was too low for my needs. It definitely didn't give me that 30-degree inclination I need to help me with my GERD. I found that it was more 6 inches thick than 7—even less when you put your weight on it. The bamboo cover is incredibly soft. Most other wedge pillows come with a polyester cover and I was concerned about friction and static. There's none of that with the Xtreme Comforts pillow. I strongly recommend this pillow if all you need is a slight elevation. As a side sleeper who is prone to back pain, I did not experience any discomfort from using this pillow.

Absolutely love this wedge, it is so much more comfortable than the foam wedge i was previously using.
