I am excited to have this book. I am telling new things everyday to my 22 months old from this book. Seeing the pictures aids in the learning process. The recommended age is 3-7 (which is perfectly suggested) but because I believe in early learning I bought it early for my daughter. It has many fun facts and interesting info. A must buy for all kids.

Interesting first kiddie encyclopaedia with an array of info and little experiments to try! Bright colorful pages. I was taken aback by the first page that classifies human beings as carnivores. Not sure if other such misleading information is given there in. Parental guidance is an absolute must. Book creates a good avenue to talk science with children. Good buy for my 4.5 year old daughter.

He still not able to read but due to pictures he want me to read it out.I got this book at very discounted price frm amazon.!I also have National Geography Bug book, National Geography solar system book, National Geography Animal book.All are nice and purchased from Amazon only..! Awesome book, with loads of pictures and accompanying explanations. My three year olddoesnt understand much but she is starting to understand why her skin wrinkles when she is in water for long or why her hair is curly and stuff.Update: She is 6 and half now and still remains one of her favourite books.

I would rather recommend a must have for children to make raise curiosity and learning. Paper quality and content layout is excellent. Price is bit higher, but when compared to quality of content and book, its justifiable.

It's a beautifully printed book with lots of great photographs, but very little content. Having grown up with books like the children's knowledge bank, this book is woefully low on information for my 6 year old. However, my one year old simply loves looking at the pics. She prefers it to all the board books we have got for her. So there's that thing going for the book.
