This book is a biography of Father Rookey, but also explains beliefs of Catholicism very well. I found it to be very interesting and inspiring. If you are a Catholic, you will be glad you read it because it will give you greater understanding of your Church and your faith. Father Rookey is such an inspiring priest, and still continues his ministry, even though he is well into his 90s. Do you believe Christ can heal you? Christ truly uses Father as his instrument of healing, taking no credit for himself, by giving all the glory to our Lord Jesus Christ. By the way, Father Rookey speaks to people of all faiths. Many people of other faiths are healed, so if you are ill in any way, feel free to write, fax, of call this holy man. If it is God's will,you will be healed. Some are healed immediately and some are healed after a longer period of continued prayer. And even if you are not healed in the way you wish, Christ will give you a powerful blessing. You simply have to humble yourself to reach out to Christ through this fine example of a holy priest.

I knew a lot about Fr.Rookey, but learned much more from this book. I am proud and honored to say that I and my family knew him and loved him many years ago - and- that he knew and loved my family also.

I am so impressed with this book and the work and life of Father Rookey. I first discovered him on U Tube about 4 months ago and ran across this book as well as other books written on him. He passed away last September. What a gift he was to so many people. The book is well written and easily understood. I listen to The Miracle Prayer daily on U Tube. This purchase was a good addition to the prayer.

This is the story of Father Peter Rookey who passed away in 2014. He was a most remarkable priest. This book gives very good insight into his healing ministry and tireless devotion to everyone who sought his help. The personal accounts of those he assisted are very inspiring. This book will absolutely strengthen your faith, I highly recommend it.

The book is very inspiring and boosts your understanding and confidence in God. Father Rookey is a holy man but also teaches Catholic doctrine. He is an inspiring person whose first miracle was to cure from his blindness.

This is a wonderful interview with a wonderful saintly man. He'll be 96 years old this year (2012), and his own miraculous story of being blinded and his sight being restored is the beginning of his journey; a journey of love and reaching out to others with love and compassion.

Couldn't put it down,so inspirational,we actually wet fr Rookey when he came to st Catherine's in Birmingham uk. Such a carrasmatic man.both me and my husband rested in the spirit what a wonderful experience .God Bless Him.xx
