A Cage for the Filter
The original I had one of the hooks break off. Needed a replacement so the filter wouldn't fall off and let dirt into the engine. Did a bit of research on what engine I had in the Toro mower, Techumseh, a bit of googling and found the part number. Obviously checked out Amazon and found a seller that had free shipping and $11 price tag, making it the cheapest.Part fits perfectly onto the mower and the filter no matter how much the filter wants to escape, it can't. It allows dirt to come in and the filter stops it cold in the tracks.I do expect the hooks to wear out, mower is in garage and filter changed yearly but I think the old one lasted at least 10 years, so should this one.
