Finicky fit, but worth it
The fit in a lot of airline seats needs a little bit of careful and minute pull-and-push to get the sound flowing adequately. but once that adjustment is properly done, it works like a charm.

Design Flaw
DO NOT BUYI got this adapter 7 hours before my flight so it was relatively new and untested during the first run. Did not work. Only 1 side of the headphones work. It's a design flaw as I compared the adapter to the headset provided by the airline. Apparently one of the jacks is supposed to be smaller than the other. But here both jacks are of equal length and width.
