Fiddes and sons Supreme was polish, same great patina just a bit darker, I also use this when painting and distressing painted projects. Worked great on my kitchen cabinets.

At first - this was was not what I was expecting at all - this "wax polish" was very runny like a stain and did not function like a traditional wax paste. I put it in the refrigerator for a couple hours and it hardened to a soft paste. Love this product it goes on nicely and very little product is needed. You do get a good work out but I would expect that with every paste application. The only reason that I give it 4 stars is because it has a medium to strong odor - but it is not completely unbearable. Polishes to a nice satin velvety shine. Exactly what I was looking for. I have the Jacobean dark wax - provides a nice vintage look.

I have used this product for many years on various pieces of mahogany furniture that I have brought back to life. I have tried other brands, but for me they don't compare. The seller provided very quick shipment and I received the item quickly - even though it was during the Christmas holiday season.

Great stuff-buffed to a nice sheen without getting too glossy. Since it was several weeks before I was able to buff out all 4 chairs I learned you have to mist the area lightly w water to get a good result v

This is an awesome product especially if you are applying a finish to a dark chalk paint project. I recommend using a waxing brush to apply and leaving the first coat on at least 12-24 hours before buffing out with a clean tshirt. Then apply a second coat, and wait the same amount of time before buffing out again with a clean white tshirt. This will give the best, most professional results even for a first-timer!

This is supposed to be a can of wax for furniture. I ordered the wrong color oringally and tried to send back. . I couldn't return as it wasn't allowed to be returned as it is not safe to ship. ??? This is the correct color. When I opened the can tonight- it exploded all over me, the floors, the countertops. A COMPLETE MESS. This is a disaster. Our hardwood floors now have dark stains all over them which we are desperately trying to get out. Do not order. There are other places to get- shipping isn't the best idea and a dysfunctional product where I can't ship back and even if I could, complete liquid everywhere. SUPER DISAPPOINTED in how this was handled.

use the product over clear wax to make up a rustic aged finish. Also works great over dark paint for a protective finish.
