No Support For Plantar Fasciitis Nor Flat Feet
Someone said these are better than Spenco and I'm a little irritated with them. Let me be more precise... If you have flat arches or Plantar Fasciitis - these insoles are not for you. I highly recommend the Spenco Total Support Max. I've been using them without an issue but saw these and decided to give them a shot. These insoles don't have much arch support and I'm not even sure how I feel about the gel cushion. If you're like me and were curious of the differences, here they are....ARCH SUPPORT*:Sofsole - Semi-rigid, very little supportSpenco Total Max - Rigid - a lot of support*This is pointed out in the picture I included with the red line indicating the entire length of the arch support. There's a huge difference. With the Spenco the arch support goes under your foot, as it should. Your arch isn't just the very outside of your foot.HEEL CUP:Sofsole - a little depth, has a little cushion bump - don't think it did anything for meSpenco Total Max - very deep - helps keep your heel moulded when foot is on groundFRONT FOOT BALL SUPPORT:Sofsole - has a nice gel cushion, I like itSpenco Total Max - has foam, not as goodHEEL CUSHION:Sofsole - gel, however, it is very firm, didn't like itSpenco Total Max - two different supports, I'm not sure if they're coated foam or what, but they're better than the gelI have two degenerated discs in my back that also sometimes causes nerve pain in my right leg. I haven't had the nerve pain in many months. I started wearing these and my back pain got worse and my nerve pain came back. I am stopping wearing these immediately and returning to my Spenco Total Max.If you don't have arch problems and are looking for just a little support, these may help you? I'm not sure. But if you're like me and need major arch support, stay away.

Great cushioning but little to no arch support.
I have 2 different orthotics already for my low arches and heel pain already: one custom made by a podiatrist and one recommended by another podiatrist. The custom one is too hard, and the other is too thin. I love the soft cushioning of the Sof Sole, much better than other orthotics I have tried. However, the arch support is basically non-existent. Yes, it comes up on the sides to surround your foot. But under the arch, it's totally flat. Lets my arches collapse. If I could combine this with my super-archy orthotics, I'd have the perfect one. So if you just want tons of cushion, these are great. If you need arch support, not so much. Oh well, back to the drawing board...

Will buy again!
These are great! I was a bit skeptical at first. I have a pair of the heel inserts and the arch area in these is not as firm. I was afraid this would be a problem. It is not! I put these in my athletic shoes and have been wearing them every day/all day. I have plantar fasciitis and flat feet. My feet have not felt this good in over a year! Are they cured? No! Are they still sore at the end of the day? Yes, but it's more tired than sore. And they don't ache up to my knees and my ankle isn't hurting. This is major! I have tried many different inserts and these are, by far, the best. The only negative that I would say is this...they fit in my athletic shoes just fine (size 10). However they are too big for any of my other shoes. These were not the shoes I had planned to use them in. There is no template on the insoles for cutting them down and, more importantly, no indication if they are made to be cut down. I'm not sure if they will tear up if I cut on them so I'm afraid to do so. The insert itself, nor the packaging indicates whether they are made for this.....

Great insoles if they send you a Left and a Right as a pair
These insoles are about the best you can get for both heel strike and forefoot impact. Great for hiking as they keep your feet comfortable on long hikes. Did Mt. Whitney 3 times with these and had no foot pain what so ever. So if they can do Mt. Whitney (22 miles round trip if you don't know), they will handle just about everything. Just remember, they have very little arch support and it is stated as so if you read the product description. So don't complain about something if you can't read. If you need arch support, then just add an orthotic with arch support in the shoe and place these on top. That is what I do and it works out great. Otherwise, these are the best I have ever used. They are so great that I decided to stock up and buy a few on Amazon from 'ShoeCago', which had a great deal on them. However, when I opened each package to make sure that they were the correct and same size, one pair had 2 left in the box. I never expected that to happen. I immediately went to try and return just that one pair to get another correct pair and it say, "This item is not returnable". Not cool!!! I'm not really trying to return the item, I just want what I ordered as I have a left and a right foot like most people do. Finding no way to return this or even contact Amazon with this complaint, I tried reaching out to 'ShoeCago' themselves by sending them an email directly. It has been about 3 weeks with no response from 'ShoeCago'. Pretty sad of them not to contact me to take care of this and very disappointed in Amazon for not making it possible to return this pair of 2 lefts. Otherwise, these are the best insoles I have ever used. I would give the insoles a 5 star, but the 1 star only reflects this transaction that was almost perfect and could have been if I could have return the item to get another pair with a left and right side.

A must have to prevent heel injuries
A a lingering heel injury left me limping with crutches for months, then off my feet for two weeks. I was not about to go back to regular tennis shoes. Bought the best Brooks sneakers I could find, and the clerk at the store told me to purchase these when I described my heel issue. He showed me on how even some of the most high-end running shoes, the inserts are very cheap and thin. So for an extra $26, he recommended these and swapped them out. I am now on my second pair of these six years later and would never buy a different brand! A must have to prevent heel injuries from reoccurring.a must

Sólidas y Comodísimas!
Excelente producto.
