Armory Replicas Outdoor Camp Hatchet & Hammer Throwing Axe

This is a great deal at the price, however the case broke the first time I tried to re-latch it, the brittle plastic cracked along the back of the axe head. That will make it a pain to store but nice axe none the less.I've now owned this a few years and I take it with me on my overnight camping trips, it's held up very well and I've abused it and used it improperly. For the price, it should have broken long ago but I sharpen it up and it holds an edge and when I take the time to clean it up it looks almost like the day it arrived. The only thing I don't like about, I didn't notice until I forgot a full size axe to split wood on a camping trip. The plastic coated handle will eat your hand pretty good if you use it for any length of time. This isn't a full size wood cutting axe, be smarter than me.

The balancing point on this axe is about an inch below the head, so it will not stick into a board when you throw it. Had to return it for this reason. It would be fine as a small, handy axe for camping, though.

LOVE this hatchet. I've always had wood handled hatchets for throwing but wanted to try one that didn't require pounding the head into position after a few throws.I love the weight distribution in this hatchet especially in the head. It really drives it into the target.I had a minor issue with the handle but the seller replaced it within an hour! Love the hatcher, reputable sellers who stand behind their products.

This is a great little hatchet. It is sturdy and has a nice blade. I like that it is one solid piece. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the holster was damaged slightly in shipping, but it still works. I contacted the seller about preventing future shipping issues with better packing and they said they would take measures to prevent such occurrences in the future.

this is by far the best hatchet that I bought for its price. I do have to complain a little about the sheath and the grip ,the sheath is a bit to hard so it will get stress marks from opening and closing and eventually will break and the grip its all right but theirs room for improvement but its right for the price. Good things about this hatchet: very sharp, strong, good size, I would recommend this item for the person that wants a hatchet but doesn't want to spend much.

I got this for my son who is going into Boy Scouts. It feels sturdy and very well balanced to me. The head is very sharp and it comes with a small guard for the blade as well as a head cover that snaps snugly over the head.It works well in our backyard, and am looking forward to when my son can use it on camp-outs.

Its not bad. The case was damaged during shipping, but I will be buying a leather one for it anyway so it wasn't much of a problem. I was a little disappointed because the picture made it seem like a metal handle, but its actually plastic. It would come in handy on a camping trip for sure, and it came pretty sharp, so not much sharpening was needed.
