DIY Oil Painting Paint by Number Kit for Adults Kids Beginner - Four Season Tree of Life 16"x20" with Wooden Frame and Easel

I really didn't know what to expect when I ordered this. It doesn't look like the picture. A paint by number obviously can't capture the sun's rays and the very fine details that are in the original picture. Having said that, though, this painting is amazing so far! Other reviewers said it took about 18 hours. I've put in about 50, and I'm only halfway done so far. I took the advice of another reviewer and bought rock painting detail brushes, which are a must when working with such small outlined sections. If you take your time and use a very small brush, you will get amazing results! I can't wait to see how the rest of this turns out!Update: It's done, and I love it! In total, it took about 100 hours to complete, using detail and liner brushes for the majority of it.

This turned out beautiful. Once I started I could not stop. I used my own paint brushes. They send you 6 but two packs of the same kind. I found mine to be better quality. No biggie. Some of the lighter paint will have the number show through so some extra touch up may be required for the yellow and white. Overall, I am satisfied with the product and results! Looking for another one to complete.

I bought this for my daughter in law who loves to paint. I have been watching her progress on it and it is going to be so beautiful when she finishes. The only bad thing she has said is that there are multiple areas that are so small it is hard to see. On that note I would not recommend for anyone that has vision problems unless they can you a magnifier. The other thing she had mentioned was that the brushes are not very high quality, so we are taking her to the craft store to get some high quality brushes to use. All in all a wonderful product, I highly recommend for anyone that love to paint. They have a fantastic selection of pictures to choose from.

So, the biggest thing is the lighter colors are much duller than expected. I was really disappointed at first, but kept at it. It is most definitely NOT for beginners lol It was my first PBN and took me roughly 60 hours to complete 😳 Lots of people complaining about running out of paint, but I didn't even come close to running out🙂This was a fantastic challenge and I'm so proud of it! I would definitely recommend this to others, even with it's minor flaws. I would suggest getting some super fine brushes though because alot of the details are so small I had to use a magnifying glass and the brushes weren't quite up to the task. Overall, really cool painting🙂

The media could not be loaded.  This was my first ever paint by number. I loved every second of it! My boyfriend has been bugging me to get a hobby and I thought I would give this a try. Turns out it's really relaxing and a great way to have some me time and listen to my podcasts why painting away. I really love the final result and am not trying diamond painting. However, I think I will most likely do another paint by number in the future.

Canvas had a rip in it when received.

It took me patience but I am super happy about the result! Every person that got to see it found it to be a nice canvas ! They thought I did this guide free - ha!Totally recommend

I bought the wooden frame which means it was on canvas and flat! It costs a bit more for this version but worth it! Came with a nice wooden easel. Paint brushes are very nice and the fine tip brush is very needed! I received 2 sets of brushes. The numbers on this are very easy to read and I was concerned about this based off of reviews I read- I was pleasantly surprised! This is not a design for a beginner in my opinion. It does seem more advanced which I am excited about! Happy painting!
