Lab power supply
Love this thing. No noise like a switching power supply.Very clean power.Seems to be a quality product, been using it for about a month now.Every day use.

A satisfying purchase
Looks and works great out of the box...hopefully it will be the same in 3 years or more!

good, but nothing outstanding about it
I bought this expecting what I got in performance and construction. I believe Tekpower is discontinuing this model so I'll be brief as possible. I wanted a low price for 3 outputs. I did check the ripple on the outputs and with an analog scope it is less than 1 mV. Checking with a digital scope I found more ripple and some spikes about 15KHz.. But this is similar to another power supply I've used for years without problems. The more noise on the digital scope did surprise me. The supply is heavy so it does have plenty of iron in it but there is some circuit that puts out the 15KHz spikes. The voltage levels measure what the readouts are. I do like a red and a green readout and leds though different than pictured. I can adjust to a tenth of a volt, though it's a bit of a bother without a fine adjustment knob. What I don't have is a overload indicator/short for the 5V so that's something to watch. Also the fan kicks in only when hot. I read a lot about fan noise in reviews. This feature is just another circuit that I presume works. I would rather the fan just be on. And, as mentioned no fine adjustment of voltage. Also, the power cord is short for my bench set up. I looked at getting some of the features I don't have and others on higher price models but they all run at twice the price AND MORE. For the interim this should be fine. But to sum up only 4 stars. I have a different Tekpower supply I've used for 1/2 a year without any problems.

Very Nice Triple Lab Supply
This is a very nice triple laboratory power supply at an affordable price. It meets specifications for meter accuracy, regulation and output noise. Construction is rugged. It is difficult to make secure connections using bare wires. To make secure connections, use banana plugs or crimp spade lugs onto your wires.

Five Stars
Lab grade instrument and has been very useful. It takes questions of power quality out of the design process.

Works as expected
Gets the job done, works as advertised, voltage doesn't fluctuate even under reasonable load.

Works
Would be 5 star, but there are a couple issues. When the voltage and current are at minimum values, -0.04v is on the display.Other than that slight error, it meets my needs. The power button and dials feel light and cheap, but the build itself is sturdy. It would have been better to have more resistance in the knobs. The knobs feel like they came from a $10 toy instead of a $160 piece of lab equipment.
