CSI Expert!: Forensic Science for Kids (Grades 5-8)

I got the book to get kids interested in science, but some were interested in forensics. They enjoyed the experiments in the book.

Used this to design a series of forensics activities for my daughter's third grade class. The kids loved the activities. My only complaint is that the book isn't very original - the activities can all be found online and in every other forensic science book for kids. Also, there is no DNA related activity so I had to make one up on my own. That said, I prefer this book because the layout is nice and easy to use, a mystery scenario is provided for each activity (which is great, I didn't have to make up my own), and there are questions provided for each activity.

My 12 year old scientist loved this.

I teach informal science programs in a park, and this book is gold! It's got a number of different activities for each section, allowing for both raw beginners and more advanced students to get something beneficial out of the experiments. I have used this for Girl Scout programs, CSI camps, and more. Would love to find more books like this!

Great activities. I will not use them all in my 7th grade forensics course, but there are enough that I will use to make it worth the purchase.

This book is great with new and unique experiments (not same boring options as all the normal books). It's hard to find such a book. We're having fun with it at home and at Scouts.

This is fantastic! Perfect for homeschoolers too. Many of the activities can be done individually or in a group.

This book was in excellent shape when I received it. I had purchased it for my daughter; however, as I looked through the book, I realized it was an activity book for teachers to use in the classroom.

I use this every year in my sixth grade classroom for our "Evidence and Investigation" unit in science and it is so well laid out and useful.

This looks great and educational for 9 year old. Very pleased.
