It worked for me!
So when I went to my stylist on Tuesday I asked for red and blue lowlights along with blonde highlights. Her assistant did it and in the end you couldn’t see a spec of blonde and very little blue. It looked as if I dyed my whole her cherry red.So the next day after excuses and no attempt to set up an appt to fix what her assistant screwed up anytime soon. I started washing it with dawn dish detergent. Then I used a vitamin c and dandruff shampoo mix. When that didn’t get all the red out,so, I bought this kit. The smell isn’t bad. It smells like curl perm solution. So I put it in left it on for the recommended 20 minutes washed it multiple times after for 20 minutes then let it dry in a towel. NO RED LEFT!! I was so thrilled.

Did the job but at a price
I had dyed my hair burgundy a while back and it had faded to a kind of pinky-red. I wanted to transition to a blue-based color. Typically, I bleach my hair over the color and it works just fine, but this time my bleach test was a little rough so I decided to try Color Oops for the first time. I wish I'd just stuck with the bleach. The Color Oops worked, my hair is back to looking as if the red was never there, however it came with a steep price. First, the instructions are to rinse your hair, wash with shampoo, then rinse for 15-20 minutes, shampoo again, rinse for 5 minutes, shampoo for a third time, then rinse another 5 minutes before applying conditioner. I was in the shower for nearly 45 minutes. Two days after using it, my bathroom (and attached bedroom) still smell strongly of the chemicals, despite opening the window and running an air purifier for nearly 36 hours plus two liberal rounds of Febreeze spray. I could even smell it on my hands despite wearing the provided gloves. While washing it out, my hair felt very brittle and rough. Thankfully this has subsided but I was actually pretty nervous for a while about the texture. Also, while washing I noticed two small chunks that had turned green. This has also thankfully gone away.Last, I ordered the listing that said "2-Count" but only received one of the product. In the end though, I'm thankful for that in a way because I can't see myself ever using Color Oops again.Edit a few months later: I've knocked it down from 3 to 1 star because I believe Color Oops contributed to the failure of my next hair dye. I used the same brand I've been using off and on for a decade and had my first bad experience with it. I waited a few days after using the Color Oops even though the box boasts that you can recolor the same day. The color came out uneven and extremely light. After a couple weeks of being increasingly annoyed and disappointed, I decided to just do my normal routine of bleaching the color out then dying the next day. I did the same color again and it came out ten times better. I can't completely prove it was related to the Color Oops but the coincidence is too strong for me.

Worth the gamble.
I watch a lot of YouTube videos, so purchased based on that. The box doesn’t say to make your head hot, but I followed others instructions. I tried to dye my hair red from blonde and it turned hot pink. It didn’t get the color out in one box but I was a lot lighter. The annoying part is the rinsing and the smell. The smell is awful be prepared to double wrap the trash before hopping in the shower. Also make sure to fully saturate your hair. Lastly the rinsing, really annoying. I live in Az you can’t take a 40 min shower. So I recommend a handheld shower head, your body will appreciate not be set on fire with water. I would say I was a little deceived when I was about to get in the shower, my hair was blonde, then the rinsing and then it was lite pink.

Okay but not great for my spot correction needs
My usual color correction product was unavailable so I tried this one. Pros: very easy to mix and apply. Cons: the rinsing piece is overly arduous, results are kind of brassy in places, only 1-use per purchase. This didn't hurt my hair and it did lighten it, but I've gotten better results with an at-home product that also left my hair feeling more conditioned and was simpler to rinse. I frequently dye my hair with permanent color (medium to dark brown with reddish tones) because of stubborn grays around my crown and temples. My hair is fine and the color can get too deposited around the front sections that frame my face--several times a year I apply a color corrector to remove the dye deposits only in those sections. It's more economical for me to purchase a product that I can mix and use in the needed quantity, from which I can get several applications. (My hair is long and I would've needed to buy two of this product to do my whole head.) I assume my hair came out more orangey closer to my roots because that's where the gray is, but with that very visible result up top, I would've expected more lightening at the ends. It sort of looks like highlights so it's fine. Overall it's an acceptable result and maybe better for whole head correction than spot correction.
