Bullet Resistant Interior 24" x 36" Transaction Module with Natural Voice Transmission

The AFISW is a fully assembled, bullet resistant transaction module intended for interior use. The 4" flat perimeter tubing on the sides and top can be inset into walls wider than 4", or have a portion revealed in a thinner wall without being unsightly. The module is 24" wide x 36" high and square. The rough opening should be slightly oversized to allow for a good fit. In most cases a rough opening of 24 1/8" to 24 1/4" wide x 36 1/8" to 36 1/4" high should be sufficient. The module has a 16" wide x 8" deep x 1 1/2" high recessed stainless steel cash tray built into the 24" wide x 27 5/8" deep x 1 9/16" high plastic laminate finished counter top. There is 11 1/16" of working space to the employee side of the cash tray, and 8 9/16" of working space to the customer side of the cash tray. Corners on the counter top are rounded on the customer side and square on the employee side. Owner-supplied support panels or brackets should installed on the employee side if there is no existing counter top support behind the wall opening. Voice transmission is accomplished through the cash tray and through the 6" diameter clamp-on style voice transmission assembly (11ga stainless steel on each side) installed over a 4" diameter voice transmission hole. The voice transmission assembly is centered 17 1/2" down from the top of the module. The anodized aluminum U-channels holding the bullet resistant acrylic in place are ballistic, with 1/4" thick walls both sides. The aluminum framing tubes are packed with UL listed level 1 ballistic materials. Compare this to other transaction modules which have no ballistic materials around the perimeter outside of the bullet resistant glazing. This product must ship via common carrier, and should ship to a commercial address. Two people should be capable of hand-unloading it. Freight costs are included in the displayed pricing.
