ALASKA BEAR - Natural Silk Liner Gloves Unisex

Purchased "ALASKA BEAR - Natural Silk Gloves Thermal Liner Unisex - Medium" on November 10, 2019 and still have my pair(May 18, 2023)! Though infrequently worn, they seem to hold up like new. Reviewers had stated they fray easily, and I concur, their fabric does catch easily, but knowing and avoiding that, the quality and durability of the fabric is awesome! Thank You!

There's absolutely nothing wrong with these glove liners. My only complaint is one that's endemic to the online shopping experience: I couldn't try then on first, so I couldn't know that they didn't meet my preference. They're much thinner than the old ones I'm trying to replace. Just waving my hand back and forth, I could feel the air flow on my skin. That doesn't mean they're bad... they're just not what I prefer. I'm looking for thin and tight fitting, (and these are), but a tighter weave that blocks the cold and wind a bit more.And they almost got 5 stars anyway for one thing: when they saw the return, an actual person wrote to me asking if there was anything they could do to make it right. That's phenomenal in this day and age of customer service bots and lack of customer service altogether. So I offered to write a positive review.Delivery was fast, quality was good, and their customer service was excellent. It just didn't happen to be the style I want, and I couldn't know that until trying them on. Sorry it didn't work out.

I have purchased 4 pairs of this product (I use each one time, same as long underwear/base layers) for use while skiing. Sizing is true (I am usually between L and XL, I prefer the XL size). I use under Hestra Army Goretex gloves or Hestra Extreme Mittens and still use the Hestra liners. These are just very thin material, think of them as a base layer. When I take my gloves/mittens off on the lift, these keep my hands warm. Sometimes they work with my iphone, sometimes they do not. I was not sure if they advertised touch screen compatibility but I would not plan on them working 100% with your touch screen from personal experience. I am a satisfied customer because I accept the touchscreen issue due to how well they work for temperature control and comfort under my gloves/mittens. After use, I purchased additional pairs, so clearly that says something. If touchscreen were my primary concern, I would not purchase again. Also of note, they do start to fray when using with ski gloves as the velcro on my gloves pulls at the material. But this is not an issue - they are well priced and should get me through a few ski seasons. If the touch screen always worked, then I would give 5 stars.

I purchased a pair of "running gloves" from that big warehouse store. I love them for walking the dog but they are too hot for running. These are perfect. Thin and very light but still keep your hands warm when running. Also, I was shocked I could use them with my touch screen. They don't consistently work but I didn't expect that so it was a bonus.

I live in MN and take my dog to the dog park every day. I wear large woolen mittens there. When I needed to get a poop bag and pick up poop, I would take my mittens off to do this and my hands would immediately freeze. Now I wear these under my mittens. I then have the needed agility in my hands. In addition, my hands are now always toasty regardless of how frigid it gets.

Even in very low negative temps, sometimes you have to take your outer mittens off in order to do something with your fingers. These have kept me from getting frostbite many times. They also add extra warmth as an inner layer. They don’t interfere at all with the wearing of outer gloves/mittens. They don’t really work with touch screens, although I’ve gotten lucky a few times. When the temperature is so cold that you’ll quickly get frostbite, my camera phone doesn’t work very well, anyway. I am an adult woman with small hands and I always get the smallest size. I would rather have them snug than floppy and even when snug they are super comfortable and non-binding. I machine wash them in cold water in a delicates bag and they never really stay white, but that’s okay, because they work great.

Pilled rather quickly, and don't ever touch them to the hook-side of any Velcro. My old Thermsilk glove liners didn't seem to have any issue in either regard.

My hands have been freezing this year and my new gloves that were supposed to be awesome suck! So I figured I'd try these. The other day when I was shoveling snow it was 13⁰ out and only my fingertips got cold after about 30-40mins. Today the wind has been awful and after about 30 mins my fingers were cold. Where as before my fingers would almost instantly be cold and would be painfully cold by the time I was done shoveling. So they definitely help some.

Bestellt in XS, leider dennoch zu groß. Was jedoch nicht am Produkt liegt sondern meinen Händen die der Handschuhgröße 4-5 entsprechen.Sie halten schön warm und fühlen sich sehr angenehm an. Trotz das sie nicht richtig passen, behalt ich sie und werde sie auch tragen. Für den Preis macht man nichts falsch!P.S. Ein Stern Abzug da sie schon allein beim Anziehen einige Flussen aufgesogen hatte, mit Tiere im Haus nicht ideal. Wenn man sie aber unter Skihandschuhe tragen will, stört das sicherlich nicht.
