KEEN UtilityMen's Detroit XT Mid Height Soft Toe Waterproof Work Boots

Exactly what my husband needed for his everyday handyman work. Says they are the most comfortable he’s had. Better than supportive active shoes or hiking boots.

This is my 3rd pair of Detroit soft toe boots. They are great overall boots. My only complaint is the insoles are not as comfortable as their hiking boot which I have had 2 pair of as well but the hiking boots the sole start to come apart in chunks around 6-8 months of wear. The Detroit holds up great. I do commercial and industrial HVAC and the boots have a lot of abuse. Get wet, get oil on them, you name it. These boots are a great deal if you can catch them on sale. The steel toe version is normally 40dollars cheaper which I do t understand.

Very comfortable everyday work shoe. They last about a year of almost daily use.

I'm surprised anything can be produced in liberal Portland besides drug addicts and homeless, but somehow they managed to make a decent work boot. Order one size larger than you normally wear.

It looks like the original box is missing with all the materials that comes with a normal purchase and the bottoms of the boots are clearly dirty as if someone returned them. Very upsetting Amazon and Keen! I have very specific foot needs, so I can't actually return them as I need to wear them this week for work. If it was discounted I could see. But I paid full price.

Bought these around September 2021. At first they were pretty comfortable. But after just a few months they started hurting my feet when I stay in them for hours at a time. The boots are very durable and show little sign of wear. That may be because I stopped wearing them as much when they became uncomfortable. They seem to be well made but just not a good comfortable fit. They were expensive for what they have turned out to be. I don't care if the Hiking websites recommend this brand. Not for me anymore.I replaced these with Foxelli mens hiking boots. I am pleased with the replacement. I also recommend wolverine work boots which I will buy to replace a pair that lasted me over 10 years. Good luck.

I have been wearing Detroits for a while (4th pair). If you're after a lightweight shoe this isn't it. No Keen has let me down on waterproofing or durability. If you've worn this shoe in the past, please note these are little larger than before, especially in the back.My biggest complaint is the laces are ridiculously long. Like REALLY long. Double tied they still drag the floor.

This my third pair of these boots and this time they seem irregular. They are too long and my heel lifts up inside the boot and they are difficult to to tighten around the ankle. This pair wore prematurely. They really don't wear well, they don't last. My pervious pairs were good but this pair was junk! Unfortunately I bought another pair during the pandemic in the event I would be able to get them in the future and its too late to return them. I'm a disabled Veteran with bilateral foot disabilities and The first two pairs I had bought five years ago were great and changed the way I walked and gave me relief from foot pain but the next two pairs looked the same but didn't fit correctly and wore very quickly! NEVER AGAIN! I lost money and experienced foot pain because of these last two pairs of boots. I'm on a fixed income and it's very stressful to get rooked! They changed the quality, a bait and switch!

The media could not be loaded. The boots fits good but I wanted steel toes and that’s why I bought it. But it came without a steel toe for work.The advert didn’t state it clearly and I didn’t get the colour I selected or displayed

Tengo varios zapatos keen de trabajo, y siempre la calidad fue excelente y duraderos, pero hoy al recibir mi paquete y abrirlo para revisar, aun no se utiliza el zapato y ya viene despegando de la suela, muy mal para la marca, no quiero pensar que al mes de uso no sirvan ya, tengo un modelo Detroit y jamas se despegaron y ya tengo 7 años con ellos y sigue funcionando, igual que las unión de la suela con el cuero , con excesos de pegamento, muy mal apariencia, ahora hay que probar su durabilidad y resistencia, pero espero lo peor si aún no se usa y ya viene despegando, mal keen xx
