Not just for men....
Hate having a purse hang off my shoulder and my leather fanny pack gave out after 20+ years :) This canvas one is very well made. Plenty of room in the first pocket in the front for my smartphone and key ring. Second front pocket fits my checkbook, all made cards, bills and change with room to spare for a small comb and then some. Another zippered compartment within holds my emergency cash stash. Only disappointment is the small outside pocket. Was hoping that the key ring would fit in it, but it does hold some lip gloss....can't think what else would fit in it!! Zippers, fabric, belt and clip all have a quality feel to them so expect many years of service. Know this is labelled "Men's" but it would work for anyone. I couldn't find anything that looked as good and as serviceable under "Women's" and thought this fit my needs at a great price.Update: 10/2016 --- Zipper came off the end and cannot be repaired. Everything else is as good as the day I got it after a little over a year of heavy use.

Well made product. On time delivery.
I like the canvas hip pack very much. It looks nice and it's well made.(Don't call it a fanny pack, the English find it offensive) The pack is large enough to hold numerous items. Right now mine holds a cellphone, extra battery pack, phone charger, double AA flashlight, spare change, reading glasses, and my wallet. I still have a little room left over. The stitching is nicely done and very strong. The material resembles the same used for Carhart jackets, thick and durable. The zippers are all substantial and have "leather like" pull tabs for easy use. I imagine I will have this for years. The plastic buckles for the hip strap will eventually break due to fatigue long before the pack wears out. My only concern is in regards to the small pouch on the left side of the pack. The opening is so small that I can barely stick two fingers inside to grab whatever is in there. It can accommodate two 9-volt batteries and not much more. My only concern relates to a design issue and not the quality of the pack. Five stars for a well made product. Would I recommend this pack? Absolutely.

Great Company
I had one of these for years and it was great. It finally wore out and I bought a new one. But this one only lasted 4 months. When it slipped off, I realize that the clasp was broken. Not sure how or why . Perhaps a replacement clasp could be bought but not sure. Update: I reached out to the company and they are sending me a replacement. I really appreciate that.

OK who uses a fanny pack?
I do! When I take my 14yo to Disney & Universal Studios! This one is a notch above your baseline target-special (do they even carry them anymore; I remember picking one up there over a decade ago). This one seems pretty well made. Certainly presentable in a sort of, 'I'm a dude with my backpack strapped around my waist!' kind of vibe. Usable pocket sizes for the type of daylong, 'carry everything you're gonna need' days we were undertaking. Fit sun screen, bug repellent, foot-ailment aids, misc useful bits in them, and didn't have something that I had to take off to ride rides (unlike my son with his shopping bag full of swag at US).

What I like best was the quick delivery
What I like best was the quick delivery. I got it faster than anticipated. The construction is hearty, though it took me bit to get used to the shape and the fact that there are only two main outer pockets and I am accustomed to three. There is a small inside pocket that I rarely use since I like to access items in one zip. One nice embellishment is the utility ring on the outside. I use it to clip my keys onto so I can actually unlock the car or front door without digging for keys first. It also saves me from the momentary stress of wondering if I might have left my keys somewhere while searching in the unorganized depth of a bag. I need only look down and I am assured, I have everything. It fits my cell phone and a mens trifold wallet. I can fit a pen and a small notepad in there too, or my sun glasses, or both. Other than the two main outer pockets and utility ring there is a weird little cylindrical pocket on the side. Designed for pepper spray? I fit a chapstick and a travel bottle of Advil in there. The strap and clasp are very hearty and the strap has a lot of adjustable length. I've been using it everyday, wearing it almost all day at work. I can see that it will last a good long time.

Practical, yet subtle.
OK, so 1st impressions, as I've just gotten it. Seems reasonably well made. Large enough to be useful, but not so large that I look like a tourist while wearing it. The larger pouches are quite practical. An HTC One with a case fits in the front pouch sideways without difficulty. The small side pouch is almost useless though, as even with high dexterity, I can just barely get a finger and a thumb in at the same time. No annoying jingle-zippers - makes virtually no sound while walking. If this thing starts showing it's Chinese origin by falling apart, I intend to update this accordingly. Until then, it looks like it does the job without being an eyesore. On a side note, Amazon has me rating this as a pair of shoes.....

Super Quality!
Very nice and well made bag! Actually holds lots of swag... cell phone, wallet, glasses with tons of room to spare. Even wraps nicely around my mountain bike's handlebars. Only rating four stars due to the fact that (for me) the straps are actually 'too' long to fit snugly around my waist without a lot of excess ends protruding from the clips l that just stick way out for lack of words. I really enjoy this item though and most often carry it around my shoulder as I originally intended to do. Will certainly give a thumbs up recommendation.

Overall really cool, but...
WHAT'S THE TINY ZIP POCKET FOR?!?! WHAT'S SUPPOSED TO FIT IN THERE? HOW ARE YOUR SUPPOSED TO GET STUFF OUT, TWEEZERS??! It's good for one loose cigarette and that is it

My Dad loves it :)
I bought this waist pack as a gift for my Dad along with a blue women's pack for my Mum, and they're both really happy with them. This pack is made of a lovely canvas material that has a real weight and quality to it, and the colour is a nice tan brown that sits well with the darker zips and trims. My Dad is a tall, broad man but he had no problem fitting the belt around his waist. He feels there's plenty of room inside for essentials and he'll mainly be using it when they go for long walks or out with the family dog. It's really useful for them to have as they need to take their phone, keys, wallet etc but also treats for the dog, poop bags and water, so now they can fit everything in this pack and just carry the bottle of water instead of needing a large carrier with them (especially if they end up putting it down and forgetting it!).I'm really happy with the quality and look of this waist pack and am glad I chose it as a gift for my Dad, who's a very difficult man to buy for! I'd recommend this for anyone after a more stylish waist bag than the usual 'fanny pack' polyester ones!

Great waist Bag
There's a lot of choice out there but this is definitely the best bag.As a kennel worker and grounds man on a large country estate it gets some real movement and use on a daily basis and lasts the longest

Good strap length
Have had many similar type bags in the past and this bag is the best one. Very comfortable to wear and has a very long strap making it ideal for the above average sized personAs others have commented on can find no use what's so ever for the small pocket but someone may find a use

A very nice looking and strong waist bag just what I needed
A very nice looking and strong waist bag just what I needed. The materials look like they will last for years and I find the very small end zip pockets annoyingly small and almost useless. But i am very happy with everything else.Thank you!

Good, but defective buckle
Looks good and is generally good quality. However mine had a defective quick-release buckle (only became apparent when I started using the bag in the spring) and replacing it entailed undoing the stitching at each end of the belt.
