Great substitutes for salty chips.
Delicious flavor. Over priced on amazon though. I can get 7 bags at my local grocery store for the price of 3 on Amazon.

The Best Unsalted Chips!
Potato chips have been a diet staple for nearly 75 years. Weekly trips to Dell's Novelty in Morristown, NJ always meant a 3-pound can of Bon Ton potato chips. When Charles Chips started home deliveries, a 3-pound tin of chips was at our front door every week. There was never a time that a bag of chips wasn't close at hand. That has meant sampling virtually every brand available.Health issues nearly derailed that long-term experience. A low-sodium diet meant forgoing my mainstay or suffering dire consequences. "Salt-free" chips had the texture and flavor of notebook paper! I started sneaking bags of low-sodium Cape Cod chips but kept getting caught. When I found a bag of Kettle Unsalted Chips in a store (now unknown to me), I didn't open the bag immediately. Anticipating another in a long line of failed experiments, the bag was left in the pantry for weeks. With prodding from my understanging wife, I finally opened the bag. That aroma hit me like a ton of bricks! I immediately sensed something special and grabbed the first chip I found. It and every chip since then has been a source of pleasure. It's difficult to believe that these chips are not stocked in quantity in every grocery store. I'm extremely grateful to find a consistent supply on Amazon. My only wish is for larger (5-pound??) bags/tins. Is that too much to ask for?

Great Chips in Grab Bag Size
This review is for the Kettle Brand Variety Pack, 30 count. I’m already a fan of Kettle Brand Chips. I love the jalapeno and backyard bbq flavors, so it’s nice to find a variety set of grab bag sized chips (1.5 oz. and 220 calories per bag) that includes my favorite flavors and more to try out. I already tried the salt and fresh ground pepper and liked those as well. They taste like plain chips but with pepper—a curious mix and just as the name of the flavor suggests. I have yet to try out the sea salt and vinegar. It’s worth mentioning that as with all grab bag chips, you will save a lot of money by buying large bags of chips. This is annoying, but I really do prefer serving size bags.I’ve also included pictures to reveal the state of arrival inside the box and expiration dates (to be compared to the date of the review). I noticed while searching amazon for variety chip packs that people would often complain of expiration dates or some of the chips arriving opened, but they rarely included pictures. While this didn’t seem to be an issue with the Kettle Brand that I’ve read, I still want to show people that I received a quality package. None of the bags were open, and the expiration dates are as expected for chips; I’m sure I’ll go through them much faster. The box only noted the closest date, about 3 months away, which was only one flavor; the others have about 4 months. One thing I’ve always found to be a minor annoyance with Kettle chips, similar to other reviewers, is the way the bags open. You open a bag by using a notch to rip off a corner of the bag. In some of the pictures you can see the little notch provided for opening the bags that is about one inch from the edge. This doesn’t leave much room to reach your hand in and it can also tear too far down the side of the bag possibly spilling your chips. I typically just grab scissors to cut open the bag as I like and avoid this annoyance. A bonus is that the bags are very secure for the chips.I’ll update my review if I have any negative experience, but so far so good. As long as the chips remain a decent price for grab bags (less than a dollar per grab bag), then I plan to buy these again.
