Hi, Nature Made Diabetes Health packs have a list of nutrients that are allegedly in each package of tablets. Further, vitamin K is listed as being in one of the tables or capsules at 30 mcg (micrograms) which is 38% of recommended daily or allowance. I must tell you that I have taken these packages for over three years and soon after not taking them I find my eyesight, sleeping comfort and energy levels are not as good, comfortable as when I take them. They seem to help my sense of well being.

Q: does it contain animal by products

If you consider fish an animal then yes the fish oil is made from Anchovy, Sardene, Mackerel

Q: Are the vitamins encased in animal products?

The vitamins & capsules in the packs have no animinal encasements on them. The only animinal item in these packs are the fish oil capsules. If you have any other question you can go to Nature Made web site & ask them any future questions. WWW.NatureMade.com

Q: Since this is health pack, I would like to know it has enough time before it's expiration date. How do I check the expire date before I order this?

The expiration date stamped on the bottom of the carton on the ones we purchased is mar 2013. We purchased more than one package so they expired before they were all used. The first package was used well before the expiration date. Although not at all scientific, it's my opinion the expiration date is somewhat arbitrary and I will continue to use them until they are gone. I bought two because all the local stores quit stocking them but will order as needed in future.
