The price was great
Was expecting to get a TV,nothing else. but was I surprised to get a nice TV. Picture and sound are great. easy to set up and came with a screwdriver. Every thing was plug and play. The legs are too close to the end of the set so you will need a wide stand or wall mounting. Very light weight. It has voice control that I turned off as I found it Very annoying. The menu was easy to navigate and I found the controls very easy to touch and remote is very well laid out for the money spent you can't beat it I will about one again and actually want to buy 1 again for another Room

Can't beat the price for a non-fussy TV
$150 for a 1080p tv with coax, component, rca and hdmi inputs, and no idiotic "smart tv" crap to get in the way.It just gets the job done. Also, the menus are easily navigable with a minimum of fuss or cut-out features (manually adding over-the-air channels would be a helpful feature). The OTA tuner is fantastic and responsive, it changes channels and inputs very quickly. The speakers and the remote aren't the greatest. Get a soundbar and a sony or programmable remote (the TV responds to the Sony codes) and you're good to go. The picture quality is as good as LED gets, unless you start buying extremely high end.I highly recommend this TV to people who are short on time or not technically inclined. Everything is very straightforward. I can't comment on the TV's durability, since I've only had it for about a week, but it does not seem like it will spontaneously combust so far.

Very nice, very LIGHT, very large TV
The first thing I noticed on unboxing was how LIGHT the monitor is. It is a good deal lighter than the Samsung 32" monitor it replaced on my wall. I used the same mount my Samsung hung on for so long.NOTE!! If you buy more than one Scepter TV product, THE REMOTES ARE IDENTICAL. This means that you cannot control the two or more products separately. When I remote-control turn on my 43" Scepter TV, my 24inch Scepter TV (which is in the same room acting as my computer monitor) also powers on. Same with any other remote function. All Scepter devices within range of the remote will respond as if that remote command was intended for them.I called Scepter tech support, got through without a single second on hold, got a real person, who told me this is just so and there is no fix for it. You can put a piece of tape over the sensor on one of the devices, to blind it from the remote unless you intend to use it, but this is plainly an unsatisfactory solution. No solution at all in fact. my suggestion would be to have a firmware update for such situations, combined with a swap program where you mail in your remote and receive another so you can control your Scepter products separately. So Scepter wants to sell you a TV, and it is a good one!, but they don't care to sell you MORE than ONE TV, which is stupid. All in all, a good deal. My problem with the remotes is unlikely to affect many people, but you should be aware of it if your TV and computer are in the same room and you are considering an all-Scepter solution. That cannot be done.Best.Jeff

Absolute total garbage
Totally stopped working within 45 days, just went totally black. Worked horrible with streaming services. Sound quality was bad. Don't waste your money this is the worst tv on the market. This company should be out of business.

Nice Picture
Bought this mainly for a work Monitor, also use for Wii Gaming and broadcast TV at times. The picture quality is very good, also noticed I have this TV connected to the same external antenna feed I have a 55" Samsung Plasma TV on, granted the Samsung is a few years older but this Scepter has a much better over the air tuner than the Samsung. I'm getting more channels on the same antenna feed.

Great TV to use with streaming device or use as monitor
We have 3 of these in different sizes. They work great for the price. 2 we use as monitors, one is in the kitchen. They are on all day.

Low priced TV within reach on a budget
TV is fine. It's not as solid as better quality models. Picture is not as sharp. It's a low priced unit that is within reach on a budget. I would buy it again.
