Citrate is the preferred calcium supplement according to my doctor. And this chewable product tastes good.

I like the taste if you like a citrus taste. I don’t mind taking this vitamin at all. Actually look forward to it. It can be a lil sour like sour candy. Size of a quarter per tablet is a good example of size.

Updated review: I added a star to my original review of 3 stars because the company contacted me and offered a full refund if I was dissatisfied. Good customer service is hard to find. I felt this gesture earned the company an additional star.Original review: It didn't sink in until I had the product in hand, that the product description said there were only 15 dosages - or half-a-month's supply - in this bottle. My advice is to do comparison shopping.... wish I had. These tablets are as large as a quarter. You need to eat 4 for the full dose, which is a lot of chewing, especially when you don't have many teeth. It is a bit laughable, but that's my mom's situation, few teeth.

I would not recommend this product to anyone. The tablet is too large and chewing it leaves disgusting chalky residue taste in the mouth, plus you have to take more than 1 tablet, totally not worth it. I found a better alternative, smaller and non-chewable, I just swallow them and then I am done for the day.

Only complaint is that there are too few in the bottle.

All the reviews that claim these pills are chalky are spot on! Not only are they chalky they are extremely sour. Not enjoyable at all. Best thing to be said about these is the reasonable price, but even that doesn't make up for trying to choke these babies down. Will not be purchasing again.
