ZAYKE X- Grip Mobile Phone Holder with USB Charger for Bike- with Handlebar Mount (U-Clamp)

I bought this product a while back but did not get the chance to use it extensively. I was in yercaud over the weekend and actually got to use it throughout, the mount was on the bike for about 500 kms.The mount is solid and very sturdy! I ride an old standard 350 bullet and in spite of the vibrations, the phone stayed locked in position. I rode through a reserve forest with no road, up the ghats through some villages with huge potholes and the mount didn't move one bit! I am amazed by how well this product works!The parts are very durable, I was riding through 40° heat but there is no wear n tear on the product.I connected the wires to the battery myself and this is where I did some modification. The standard product comes with brass O-shape rings. This means I have to remove the screws on the battery and then insert the connectors and put the screws back. (See attached pic)Instead, as shown in the pic above, I cut the connectors into a U shape so I just have to loosen the battery screws a bit and insert them. Another thing I did was to wrap the joints of the connectors with electrical tape, since my battery has a lot of metal around it. I ended up sparking the +ve pole accidentally as the connector touched the frame. This turns out to be good for safety as well as to keep that joint strong.Phone charged well and the USB port was a blessing since I was using GPS and music all the way!Overall, if you are looking for a sturdy phone mount, go for this! Totally worth the money!!!

Very nice product.. I have tried the original RAM Mount too.. So, if I have to place a conparitive feedback, it does the job well. The 1inch ball in the head and the x-grip holder are almost of the same size, but the holder that holds these balls at either ends is kinda big which makes the seating a little loose.. so, we have to tighten it too much for a firm grip. This is ambiguous. Apart from this, all the components of the product works just fine. Additional fixture for handle bar fixing or mirror hub fixing gives us an option to fix it per or choice. my opinion is that handle fixture is better than mirror hub fixture, simply for the reason that, mirror hub is more prone to vibrations.I would strongly recommend this product to anyone, since everyone are so damn dependent on Google Maps these days and this mount gives a strong fixture for mobiles..

Best mobile holder. I have galaxy S7 edge a big screen mobile and I have fitted this mount on my Ninja Zx10R (1000cc) bike. Initially I was in doubt whether it will hold the mobile or not but I rode on my bike at 200+ kmph speed and I was surprised the mobile was still so sturdy and didn't move an inch from its place. The mount itself is so robust and there is no shakiness. Definately a replacement for overpriced RAM mount. It has two mounting options one I have fitted in my supersport and another one in my RE CLASSIC 350. Go for it didn't tried the charger yet. Will share additional reviews.After using it for almost more than 6 months the charger is a Fast charging charger. It can be used with devices that has fast charging enabled.Ps:- Buy it from seller ZAYKE only. No other seller. As I have placed an order from another seller twice and he cancelled my order both the times as he didn't had U clamp mount.

Very nice product. Used it at 160km/per and the phone remained where it was. Plugged in the charger, works fantastic and supports quick charge. Edit (16/03/2020) unlike the last time, I bought the one without the u-clamp this time. Sheer waste of money. Don't buy without it as it will make the phone vibrate and ultimately result in the dropping your phone.

Drain the battery in few days.

The quality of the product is good as far as I can see. It looks sturdy. I have yet to use it on my bike. But the installation system of connecting the wires directly to the battery is not the best method. As already pointed out by other reviewers, the wire should have a male female waterproof connector, closer to the mobile holder, so that the holder itself can removed from the bike, when not in use. Mostly, we will use this for long distance touring and less so for commuting. In any case the holder can be fitted back onto the bike in less than a minute with the connected as a standard fitting.The second thing that I would like to see is an easy way of connecting the wire with the ignition and not directly with the battery.The third improvement should be the installation of an appropriate fuse between the electricity source and the charger.I have had all this done on my bike at considerable time and expense, and because the wires had to be cut and taped to add on the connector as well as to connect the wires to the ignition, the reliability of this in the long run could be suspect. If done at the manufacturers end the wiring would prove much more reliable and at considerably reduced cost to the customer. I for one would be prepared to pay more for quality and convenience. This is the 1st time I’m writting a review for a product that i purchased online. Though I’m not a fan on online products (because of bad experiences in past, due to fake display of items and when you get them in hand it appears to be different altogether) I thought of writing a review for this product as it fully fullfilled my expectations.I own a Himalayan and i was looking for a mobile holder which includes charging option as i ocassionally do some rides to hillstations. I should say that Zaykr mobile holder has served its purpase in all means. Its stable, vibration free, quick charging and absolutely served my purpose.The seller deserves all kudos as it was delivered well in advance of the expected date which i havent felt for the others. Moreover all kudos for this genuine product which indeed suits for all riders for a hackle free ride! Adding to it, its very much easy to assemble this product with the guidelines provided in the brochure!Thank you Zayke! Looking fwd for more products from you!Cheers
