Spandex Simplified: Sewing for Gymnasts

Trying to find information on how to make a professional looking rhythmic gymnastic leotard has been very difficult until I found this book. I am an experienced seamstress, and needed information on painting leotards and found a lot of very useful information from someone that has had a lot of experience in this field of sewing. Invaluable resource for anyone wanting to do it themselves and avoid the very expensive cost of a designer leotard.We'll worth the cost of the book.

Can't stress how disappointed I am with this book. I already make leotards and wanted to learn more advanced techniques. Even for beginners I disagree with most of the advice. For the price of the book I expected much more. Shoddy illustrations too. The Kwiksew Swimwear book is far more useful to beginners and comes with a pattern.

The content of the book is exactly the same (except for 5 pages) to a book of the same series I bought. I do not need two books with different name and cover but the same content.

I have been sewing for 18 years and I was looking to start constructing gymnast apparel.This book is helpful has some good pointers.

If you have read one of her books, you have, literally, read them all! This is the second book I bought, and paid way too much for! There were 4 extra pages in this book, 4! The first book was very helpful and worth, almost, the price. These book go for over $50.00 each! I was happy with the information I got from it and was looking forward to learning more. The cover was different, so and so was the title. I thought there were more secrets to the art of sewing with spandex, if there are, they weren't in this book. Buy one of her book, but don't buy another!!!!
