Bad squeaker, amazing toy!
I was really hoping this would be the toy brand that my dog couldn’t defeat. But we’ve had this toy for about 6 hours and the squeaker is broken already. The tail is also starting to rip off after literally one tug. But besides that, this toy is holding up. It’s a great shape to throw (kind of like a boomerang), it’s a perfect size for her, there are no puncture wounds as of yet, and my dog loves it. It’s definitely expensive for a dog toy but my dog goes through so many, I’ll pay extra if they’ll actually last. Let’s hope it holds up for another 6 hours!Update: it’s been nearly two weeks and my dog still loves this toy! It’s her go to fetch toy and it’s holding up great! Even though the squeaker broke and the tail tore a bit, I’m updating my rating to be 5 stars. My dog is crazy for the toy even without the squeaker and that makes it worth it for me. Normally once the squeaker’s out, the stuffing comes out and then she’ll never look at it again. Not with this toy. It’s held up great and there are no holes even after lots of very rough play!

New Best Friend!
I rarely write reviews, but just had to for this toy! I have an 8 month old, 55lb Belgian Malinois - he can joyfully destroy most toys in no time. It is an ongoing mission to find toys that can survive ... and even more difficult, toys that can survive but are also soft enough to not cause destruction when he’s inside playing. For whatever reason, he LOVES to shake his toys back and forth - viciously, lol. Also loves to step on toys and then slide them around the floor with his foot. We have an ongoing argument over the throw rug in front of the door ... he is determined to slide that thing all over the living room like he is Aladdin and that’s his magic carpet. He’s a weirdo, but I adore him.I saw these Hugglehounds toys, and thought “do I dare to dream that these could survive my Maligator and also not destroy my house if they go flying?” So I threw caution to the wind and ordered the small moose initially, just to see how durable they really would be. He loved it immediately, and also chewed the ears off in no time. Seems to be a pattern with any soft toys that have ears, no clue what he has against ears, lol. But these toys are VERY well made, because even with the ears off, the seams were still intact, so the moose did not fall apart. I then got the small raccoon, so I could alternate the two while I have one in the wash. But then I got the large octopus ... OMG, he absolutely ADORES this one! I chose it because he has lots of legs to grab so my crazy dog can shake the heck out of him, but no ears to chew off, lol. My puppy IS gradually pulling out that tuft of hair on top of Ollie’s head, but it’s so little and it gives him the sense he’s getting away with tearing something up, and it doesn’t seem to be affecting the integrity and strength of that seam. So I’m not bothered by that at all.He loves to go around with a leg in his mouth, shaking Ollie wickedly, but also likes to just carry him around or even to snuggle with him sometimes. The squeakers at the end of each leg barely squeak, which is fine with me, lol. The squeaker in the body squeaks easily, but is FAR less irritating of a noise than the ones in a lot of other toys.Bottom line, both me and the Mali approve of and love these toys! I’m going to have to get another Octopus, so I can always have one available while one gets a bath. These are soft toys, so at some point they are bound to fall apart - which in no way reflects poorly on how they are made. (Although, after a couple of months of almost daily play and abuse, that little moose is still fully intact, except for his ears.) Nothing lasts forever, especially with an aggressive chewer/shaker. But they are hands down the sturdiest made ones we’ve ever tried. And when any one of them finally has to be retired, I’ll just get a replacement. Trust me - it is money well spent.

Surprise Failure
I love these products! Have purchased 4 or 5 over the years w my large dogs. They all lasted months - one even outside during warm months. But this cute Raccoon? Less than a week! My 10 mo old large breed puppy pretty much opened every seam! Don’t know what changed in manufacturing but she got the ears & a leg off the body intact (seam only damage) and finally she split the seam all the way up the back! Nothing actually torn, just seam failures.

This one sadly didn’t last long, not like other Hugglehound toys I have purchased
I usually love this brand because their toys usually last longer and are well enjoyed. Strong legs, strong knots, strong fabric but This bunny lost its head rather quickly, along with serious damage to the legs and ears. I don’t know if this one was made on a Monday or watt but totally unacceptable for a Hugle hound quality item . I pay more for Hugle hounds Because they are usually worth it. This one gave up the stuffing within the first hour of play. The stitching opened right up quickly around the head the leg and the ear . and was very disappointed. This is my third purchase of a Huggle hound. I buy the large toys, for a large great Dane. The green octopus monster and the large puppy dog. What happened with this pink bunny Huggle hounds? My sister‘s Great Dane and I were greatly disappointed. Less than One hour of play is not what I expect from a Huggle hound toy. Would greatly appreciate your response Huggle hounds

Merveilleux
Peluche très solide. J’ai un husky sibérien de 6 mois qui brise tous ces jouets et il n’arrive pas a briser ces peluches. On a le raton laveur , l’éléphant , le renard et la vache. Je l’es recommande !!!

Very small for the money
Dog toy was very small for the money. I previously said it couldn't be returned, but Amazon customer service helped me out and gave me a refund. The service agent was very professional and helpful.

Durable toy
My 5 year old Doberman is enjoying this toy. She enjoys chopping on it and so far it’s holding up really well.

Sturdy
My Pug likes it. We have both the large and this smaller size. It’s about the length of a males hand. Wish it was somewhere between the two sizes offered
