It’s a Real Staub
Although coming from Japan it is indeed a real Staub, in a Staub box, base is cast iron and lid is ceramic (inside lid is not coated) and made in France. I bought it as all my other Staub’s are too big to cook for one. It’s a wonderful little piece, perfect for one. I use only Dr Bronner’s pure Castile soap for cleaning cast iron which makes cleaning easy and maintains the integrity of the cast iron.

Beautiful pot, but just a tad bit too small.
It's a beautifully constructed tagine, but it's a little too small to use so I returned it.
