Not What I expected. Disappointed.
I anticipated satin covered sponge rollers that I would be able to easily roll and twist to secure. Instead, the sponge rollers have a hole running through the center of them through which the rod portion of a large, long plastic fastener is inserted. I did not understand from online description that the rollers were so anchored over a plastic fastener. The plastic fasteners made it very difficult for me to roll my hair tightly. Some rollers would just spin in place as I tried to roll my hair tightly. Other fasteners easily slipped out of the rollers during my attempts to roll my hair. Still some other fasteners were too difficult to secure firmly. The plastic fastners made it uncomfortable to try to sleep in these rollers. The satin covers slipped off of the sponge rollers easily also.

Roller that do NOT Need End Papers
I have been using these Hype Hair Foam Rollers for years for several reasons. The chief reason is that they do not require end papers to keep from pulling your strands out. The next reason is they are comfortable to sleep in. My final reason is they help dry my hair from dampness that can create. Overall I will be using these until something better comes along. Until then I will keep up the Hype about them.

okay
These are ok. Wish the satin truly covered the entire roller, but the ends are really exposed so hair gets snagged on them.

Flimsy -- Not well constructed.
I wanted to love these. A foam roller with satin around it so your hair doesn't dry out. Perfect. However these things are just flimsy. The satin gets all bunched on either end of the roller or slides off. The frames fall apart non-stop, so you're constantly having to fit the pieces back together at the slightest pressure. I've used MANY types of rollers in the past and these are by far the most annoying. When you manage to get them on your hair with the satin intact and without breaking the two pieces apart, It does leave a nice shiny curl. Good luck holding on to your patience long enough to get two curlers in.

I am so happy that I got them
These rollers are a life saver. I am so happy that I got them. The satin covers the entire circumference of the foam roll as described. Some reviews stated that the roller kept coming apart but I did not experiene this issue. These people are probably using more than one inch or so per roller. That may be why it falls apart. If you use it like rollers are suppose to be used.1-1.5 inches of hair then it shouldn't be a problem. Hopefully my hair will grow now that I am not subjecting it to curls from a flat iron every morning.

Rollers OK - how packaged not good
I have bought this brand of rollers for years. I love the satin cover on the rollers but they break easily and the satin stretches and come off. My major issue is that you cannot purchase the individual size needed. I only use the small and next size of the rollers and end up throwing away over half of the 42 set because I don't need them. Money wasted. Why can't you buy just the size you need?

Be Patient. They’re Great!
I’ve used traditional sponge rollers longer than I care to admit, simply because of limited alternatives. These really work well. This is not a great pic of my hair - I’ll add a better one if I remember.

Satin rollers good for hair health.
I love the satin rollers. Much easier on my hair, able to sleep in them if necessary. Hairdresser recommended the satin rollers.

Very pleased with the curl these gave my hair however some of the silk has frayed and some are broken. The design could have been better.
