K&H Pet Products Lectro-Soft Igloo Style Dog Bed, Medium, 14.5-Inch x 24-Inch, 40-Watts

Since my kitties have been sleeping on this bed, they have been warm & cozy & they love it.I had given it 4 stars, but had to come back & update my review, I thought it could have felt warmer (but it's not like I fell asleep on it)..and I was sure it's warm enough for my outside kitties, which it is. Lunar, Rum Tum & Egg love this bed & they all share it. I also got them the medium barnhouse dog house and this medium igloo style heated bed fits in good. It was shipped SUPER fast & I got it before the "expected" date, which was great 'cuz my kitties needed a cozy spot. Lunar & Rum Tum are sleeping on it right now! I like that they can warm their bones :)edit: My K&H Lectro-Soft Igloo style medium dog bed DID come with a fleecy pad cover, but the box read "bonus $16 free pad".

This heating pad came at a perfect time when our aging dog needed it. He was an outside dog that flatly refused to come in, even when the weather was horrible. I ordered this for his favorite Igloo dog house and it arrived just days before we had a bitter cold spell. We put this in his house along with some old soft comforters and he snuggled right down in. While we have since said goodbye to the old man, I really do believe this heater allowed us to have one last winter with him.

Please be advised that this is advertised as a pet bed when in fact it is a very nice & very well made heating pad for the pets house floor that is sold separately.I thought it was the whole shebang!Now I must save another month to buy the housing. It's just that I'm disabled and my money tree had to be chopped down for fire wood.

I bought this pad to keep my little outdoor kitty warm in the winter. I put it in an igloo on our porch and put her food dish in the igloo to entice her to go in. It took a couple of days for her to feel comfortable enough to stay in the igloo but now she goes in and curls up on the heated pad and seems to enjoy it. I felt the pad when she got up and it was nice and warm. I highly recommend you purchase the zip up cover because the little fleece pad that comes with the heating pad does not stay on well.

I like to let my dog outside for a while during the day and in the fall and beginning of winter it's nice to have this in his house for that extra bit of heat. It seems like it should be a bit warmer but I wouldn't know because I don't lay on it, ha. The cord is tubed through metal and very sturdy, has a nice material covering on it and all around good product

I was fully expecting to receive an IGLOO AND BED when I ordered this!Please be aware that you ONLY get the heated pad - you do NOT get the igloo!!The way this is advertised, they show the igloo as the "product"! If you don't read the fine print, you think you're getting the whole package.I got this for a stray cat that won't come in our house (too skittish) - but I want him to stay warm, so I was hoping to have a warm "cat house" for him.... anyway - I put the pad in a cardboard box and hope that'll do... for now.

Received yesterday, followed the set up instructions, and waited about 2 hrs. for Mr. Feral aka Willie to accept his gift. He loves it. He's sleeping off his nights' doings right now. I was disappointed with the shipper, tho. For some unknown reason, they transferred my order from UPS to USPS on very the day it was to arrive (Veteran's Day), so we had to wait till the following evening to get it delivered since that day was a USPS holiday. At any rate, we survived the disappointment of watching UPS deliver pkgs to the next door neighbors on Veteran's Day, and "my" feral cat is quite happy.

I have several of your products and they are great except the covers on smaller hearted pads ,they do not and I mean they do not stay on .I think if you made them like a pillow case that would be great!

I bought this pad to use inside the house of our (recently-turned) outdoor kitty. Without one of those I don't think our cat would have survived the Northern Albertan winter. But she did. And she was incredibly happy not to be hassled to come inside the house (she really loves the outdoors but we were not properly equipped to let her out indefinitely).A bit of background: I build her a wood house using reclaimed pallets, and used R12 insulation inside the walls and ceiling. I then used some vapor barrier (with a cut) to serve as a door. Then put a pet bed inside, and this pad on top of it. Our kitty was very cozy even when the temperature fell below -40C. She never gave any sign that she wanted to come in the house.Don't forget to buy an electric bowl to avoid water freezing.

This is the most useless piece of junk I have ever purchased! I followed the instructions to install it. It has been plugged in for 23 hours and has not changed shape or anything. It is barely warm but is a flat piece of plastic as it was when I took it out of box. Very disappointing!!!
