Awesome cover design, good binding, Good deal @ ₹249
Fp publication is my favourite publication for the following reasons :Nice cover picture ;Amazing printing and paper quality ;Good binding ;However, I'm slightly disappointed with the printing & paper quality of this. But I guess, as the number of pages increase the quality bounds to suffer to manage the cost. Still quite a good deal @ ₹249.There are many translated version of this book are available. This one is by Constance Garnett ( & I think they should mention it in product description).As the last picture depicts, a little recklessness while packing. (A crease on the cover of a new book is almost like a dent o a new car.)You can also go for the same book by 'The Originals' series of om publication. Their printing quality is also similar. & price is a bit less i.e. @ ₹207.I preferred Fp over Om just because of its cover page design and my trust for it.P. S. This is the product review. No need for literary review, I guess. The book is classic.

What? You haven't read ANNA KARENINA yet?
I have been an all-time Tolstoy admirer and have almost all his short stories which never cease to amaze me with their intriguing plots and moralistic approach.Anna Karenina outstands in the crowd of classics of its age and an astonishing example of Tolstoy's brilliance at Russian Literature.In Anna Karenina, Tolstoy subtly describes the stories of mirth and miseries in families in medieval Russia.With Anna Karenina, Tolstoy robustly portrays characters of Anna, Karenin, Vronsky, Oblonsky, Dolly, Kitty, Levin, Prince and Princess Scherbatsky who have a strong influence on the flow of the story.Anna Karenina is rich with human emotions, behavior with a detailed view of characteristic approach to problems and issues in real life.Tolstoy has put significant efforts in giving a minute to minute description of mental afflictions owing to varied precarious situations in which there is so much to learn and understand and it makes you almost live the characters of Anna and Levin and Karenin and Dolly etc. They are faces of myriad human moods. Firm, Doubtful, Shaky, Confused, Happy, Envy, Jealousy, Love. Everything about them is so complex yet so riveting. So inconsistent yet so influential. I could relate to it, to all of it, all the instances of utter shock and happiness and confundedness. Because as human-beings that is what we are. We are all like Anna and share a part of her life with ours. And that is one of the reasons why the book gets you gripped head to toe that you are still stuck with the story even after a week of finishing it. It is so immensely rich with human emotions and morals that it is hard to not get into the flow.I loved the way Tolstoy has displayed classism. How easily Dolly forgives and forgets Oblonsky's adultery but which is so hell-hard for Karenin to overlook in the case of Anna. How society condemns women but not men for something that is not acceptable to the society.I loved Anna and the exquisite way she is portrayed. Tolstoy has done an astonishing work with her character.I can keep writing on and on like this. All in all, I admire Tolstoy's work more and more. And with Anna Karenina, it just cant get better than this. Having overalled, Anna Karenina is one of the greatest masterpiece works that I have ever come across. Tolstoy has penned down a stupendous classic of perfection with his literary communication in Anna Karenina.

Really Good Book
If you wanna buy this then don't think and click on "buy now" but want to know about this edition than read below.First of all it's printed price is $ 9.99 but I got it for only 230 rupees and that's only like $ 3 . So take the review lightly.1. It's paperback edition but still book cover could be more hard. Although book cover is very nice looking like collector edition cover.2. Bidding don't look so good but I've been reading for like 6-7 days and I didn't see any problems.3. The major problem is book doesn't have any additional pages like about author, prologue, about book, index or book edition nothing at all. I know it seems nothing but it looks weird when you open the book and on the second page is written chapter 1.Still books is great, abot nineteenth century Russian high Society Drama.I think it was Tolstoy's first novel but still it's beautifully written

One of the greatest books ever written
Leo Tolstoy has just skyrocketed in top ten authors list to second place behind Dostovesky thanks to this single book.Even though I hate Anna as a person,I cannot deny she is one of the best if not the best female protagonist and character in fiction.The stories not only explores the life of Anna but also many other characters related to her.It also explores the many issues of modern society in its intellectual speeches.

Good to read
Leo Tolstoy lives forever for his writings.He is one of the best writers.But this book I doubted about one thing that the title of the book.Anna Kerenina’s character has not been depicted such a magnanimously in this story as it became the title of the book.Levin character has shown different shades.Only Anna karenina sacrificed (?)her life in the name of love(?).Only good thing in her character 1.her beauty 2.her boldness revealing her liking towards another person to her husband.Good descriptions about the things just like cultivation,human nature etc;

Good product.
Anna Karenina is a classic and I won't be writing about its value as a book but about the product I received. This book by Fingerprint Classics is the translation by Constance Garnett. The book is in good condition, paper quality and font size are good at a very reasonable price. I don't know about what will happen to the binding after a year but at present it's perfect. I've bought other books from Fingerprint and haven't been disappointed with them. The only thing lacking in their books is a lengthy introduction by someone which you can find in Penguin Classics. I recommend this book to everyone who wants a pocket friendly investment.
