The part about the time machine was totally plausible.
I love how the Jungian motif of the faux rabbit jacket ties into the Freudian rabbit foot. Did you catch that? I studied about the Shark God of Luxor in school, so I know it's true. Also, absolutely everything meteorological was tightly adherent to the laws of physics, chemistry, and biological. I did love how they let everything fly loose when it came to long division, though.

Great fun!
Oh, this was so good! I laughed so much.It was a kick seeing so many celebrities I have known from the 70's till now who played cameo roles. I agree with my son. They probably volunteered to be in the movie for the fun of it.I love good spoofs. This was full of spoofs, puns, famous one liners as well as ridiculous and outrageous scenarios.Enjoy!

Stonehenge Explodes: Pope Fabio Approves
"Sharknado 5: Global Swarming" contains all the insanity you'd expect from the franchise and then some. I've generally been a fan of this self-aware disaster franchise, and this installment is less sane than normal. The casting is great as always (particularly look out for Bret Michaels on a very unusual bus ride, Nichelle Nichols as the UN Secretary General [they certainly could do worse], and Fabio as the Pope in my favorite piece of casting ever) along with all the people you've come to know and love (I especially liked the Today Show and International Today Show casts) giving it their all: a special shout out goes to Al Roker for his wonderful weather forecasts and skill with a baseball bat!The film opens with Fin ("America's finest shark soldier") going to a NATO strategy meeting, but being called away to Stonehenge all in the first two minutes. As usual the dialogue is sublime ("Stonehenge is gonna' blow!") and the plot takes us basically everywhere in the world. Perhaps my favorite element is Geraldo Rivera piloting the new sharknado-proof zeppelin, the "Hindenburg XP3000" which crashes into the Swiss Alps with the obligatory line "Oh the humanity!" The plot contrivances really don't matter (there's a time travel subplot, April is a flying superhero robot throughout most of the film, etc.), but it all comes to a boil with a radioactive sharknado leading to an attack by Sharkzilla in Japan. You know better than to care about logic or plot here, but if you ever wanted to see Charo as the Queen of England, this is your movie.

Just as terrible as the rest of them
If you've watched the first four, you know exactly what to expect: bad acting, awful cgi, and a poorly written script that steals heavily from other movies. This one is not any different. So watch it, it's amazing.

It's Sharknado
Another fantastic cheese fest of bad acting and effects totally entertaining. As always the 3d is OK not brilliant which matches the film.

non si commenta quasi
premetto che il dvd a volte saltava, ma onestamente questo è il minimo.un film surreale, al limite del folle. nemmeno tarantino avrebbe osato tanto.a mio avviso andrebbero distrutte tutte le copie esistenti
