Exploring Anatomy & Physiology in the Laboratory Core Concepts

This book was a big waste of money and did not go into the detail I needed to know for class although this was the recommended book. The teacher ended up using the older version instead.

The only downside is that its loose leaf. You will have to get a binder to put it in because it's difficult and frustrating without it

I used this book (the second edition) for my A&P 1 course. However, A&P 2 required the 3rd edition. I thought I could get away with just the second edition, but I was very wrong. The 3rd edition has an extra 400 pages! Also, the unit quizzes and exercises are different. So if your prof tells you the editions don’t matter, don’t listen! Definitely get the 3rd edition.With that being said, this manual is a simple and easy read. The language isn’t complicated and excessive paragraphs are not printed on the pages. It is not a substitute for the textbook, but it is a good complement to it. The diagrams, charts, and photos are very vivid and memorable. It’s one of the best lab manuals I’ve purchased, but definitely get the 3rd edition because the 2nd edition is missing too many pages.
